Charlie Strong appeared at a booster event in Houston today and was asked, as has each coach and AD on both sides of the rivalry since the Great Divorce of 2011, about the status of the dormant but heated Texas-Texas A&M rivalry.
Here's what he had to say:

"They're trying to work something out where we're going to play the Aggies again," Strong said. Reached by the Austin media contingent in attendance, a UT spokesperson said no specifics have been discussed.
However, just because the 'Horns and Aggies aren't talking specifics doesn't mean talks aren't necessarily happening. It would certainly seem odd for Strong to make that detail up out of thin air otherwise.
So, will Texas and Texas A&M share a field for the 119th time anytime soon? Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, we'll have to wait and see.
