Temple: The Temple University Football Sports Science Staff is looking for a qualified sports science intern for the 2019 spring semester. Responsibilities include: assisting with the supervision and implementation of Temple University’s Catapult program, assisting with daily organization, data collection, running reports and other duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Science. This is an unpaid internship. However, candidates will receive Division I Intercollegiate experience, college credit towards graduation if applicable and will receive hands-on experience working with Catapult. Preferred qualifications: Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in exercise physiology, data analytics or related field; Prior experience as a collegiate athlete is a plus. The head strength coach plays an important part of a professional team whose mission is to support student athletes in their personal and athletic progress. This position is responsible for directing the LR Athletic Department Strength and Conditioning program in all phases to include programming and supervision of team/individual workouts, maintenance of proper records, budget/purchasing in addition to education within the university and athletic department’s mission of student athlete development. Hobart and William Smith Colleges: Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, N.Y. are seeking highly motivated individuals for our Spring 2019 Strength and Conditioning internships. Interns will gain valuable hands- on experience coaching a variety of Men’s and Women’s teams. Daily responsibilities include set up and break down of training equipment, maintenance and upkeep of RFK Strength & Conditioning Center, and will assist with coaching of team training sessions. Interns will also learn implementation and usage of our Strength and Conditioning Technology. This is an unpaid position, however interns will be provided gear and valuable hands on experience.
