The Ohio State University: The Ohio State University is seeking elite candidates for the summer 2018 Strength and Conditioning Internship Program. Qualified candidates will have an opportunity to work with multiple sport teams. Select candidates will work primarily in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center (Football) or Schottenstein Center (Menβs & Womenβs Basketball / Hockey). Required qualifications: current CPR / AED; completion or currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in the field. Looking for applicants working towards CSCCa hours (SCCC Certification) or credited hours towards undergraduate / graduate program. Other preferred qualifications included Certification(s) from CSCCa and NSCA, previous coaching experience(s), experience in collegiate sports, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This is an unpaid internship, if this is not an economically feasible option, please do not apply. South Florida: The University of South Florida Strength and Conditioning Department is accepting applications for the position of Strength and Conditioning Interns for the SUMMER 2018 semester. Successful candidates will be working with Football and a variety of Olympic sports. Compensation: This is an unpaid, volunteer position gaining Division 1 experience with earned recommendation for future career opportunities. Must have a STRONG WORK ETHIC and a desire to become a strength and conditioning coach. Certification from one or more of the following (SCCC, CSCS, USAW) are preferred or in pursuit of certification.
