Eastern Washington (FCS - LA): Per source, former Northwestern State (FCS - LA) assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning will replace Mitch Depner at Eastern Washington as the Director of Athletic Performance for Olympic Sports. Nielsen served as GA Strength Coach at Eastern Washington from 2014-2016.
Purdue: Purdue Football Strength and Conditioning is currently accepting applications for internship positions for FALL 2017. Interns will have the opportunity to work with the football strength staff as well as participate in special projects, sport science, and education sessions. Link to the application process can be found via this link. Qualifications: Students interested in applying must need the experience for class credit. All applicants should be highly motivated, hardworking and possess a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning professional with a definitive plan to take a nationally recognized certification (CSCCa, NSCA, USAW, etc.) upon completion of the internship, if not sooner. If selected for an interview, we will expect that applicants will have the ability to complete a video interview via Skype or FaceTime.
