Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University (D-II) has a paid summer Football Strength/Conditioning position available beginning June 1 through the end of July. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design, conduct, and evaluate speed / strength / conditioning for the football program. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters preferred. 1-3 years’ experience required, working in a collegiate strength and conditioning environment preferred. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification required. CPR and First Aid certification required. Proven success in all areas of strength and conditioning programming, Olympic style lifts, plyometrics, speed development, conditioning, and flexibility. Position includes a monthly stipend and occasional meals. Arkansas Tech (D-II): Arkansas Tech University has an immediate opening and is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Strength & Conditioning Department. This position is a 2-year contract with a full tuition waiver towards the Masters Programs at Arkansas Tech University, where we offer a M.S. in Strength and Conditioning Studies (More information can be found at http://www.atu.edu/hpe/graduate.php). Duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to: assisting with supervision and execution of strength training, conditioning, speed, and agility programs for assigned sports, and assisting with Football. The position holds the opportunity for full responsibility for four to five teams on campus, based on experience. Compensation: Up to 18 credits tuition waiver per fiscal year (June 1-July 31) and a monthly stipend. Requirements: Candidates must have a strong desire to become a Strength and Conditioning Coach while working untraditional hours, have an exceptional work ethic and time management skills, have a bachelor’s degree, must pass a background check, and must be accepted into one of ATU’s graduate programs. Candidates should also be certified through the CSCCa (SCCC) or NSCA (CSCS).
