Cody Crill is expected to be the new head coach at Texas A&M-Kingsville, sources told FootballScoop on Tuesday; although the deal has yet to be papered.

Texas A&M-Kingsville is a Division II school in far south Texas. The Javelinas compete in the Lone Star Conference.

Crill is currently the offensive coordinator at Incarnate Word, an FCS school in San Antonio, a position he has held for the past two seasons. He was one of two finalists, alongside Henderson State (Ark.) head coach Scott Maxfield.

Prior to UIW, Crill spent nine seasons at Navarro College, a junior college in Texas, the final three as head coach.

A&M-Kingsville went 2-9 in 2019. Head coach Daren Wilkinson was not retained on Nov. 18.
