Sources: Bucknell head coach Joe Susan to resign (joe susan)

Bucknell head coach Joe Susan will resign, sources told FootballScoop on Monday.

Sources indicate the news could be official as soon as today. Bucknell went 1-10 in 2018, a season that ended on Nov. 17.

Susan has led the Bison since 2010 and sports a 38-61 record. Bucknell posted three winning seasons between 2011 and '14 but has not enjoyed a winning season since, going a combined 14-30 over its past four seasons.

Bucknell marked Susan's second head coaching stint; he went 10-0 in one season at Davidson. That success led him to Rutgers, where he coached the Scarlet Knights' offensive linemen and tight ends from 2001-09, when he left to take over the Bucknell program.

Senior members of Susan's staff include offensive coordinator Bobby Acosta and defensive coordinator Matt Borich. Acosta has been on the staff for the past two seasons and owns coaching experience ranging from high school football to the NFL. Borich played at Bucknell from 1997-00 and has been on his alma mater's staff for the past decade. In between stints at Bucknell, Borich coached defensive lines at Princeton and Lafayette and served as the linebackers coach at Dickinson College.
