Air Raid: The birthplace of the Air Raid offense is on the verge of shutting its doors.

Division III: A look at the usual contender(s), some fresh blood gunning for that #1 spot, and some unique stats not even Bama can hold a candle to. Our Division III playoff snapshot.

Broyles Award: The list of 53 Broyles Award nominees were announced Wednesday. See the full list here.

Limestone (D-II - SC): Offensive coordinator Brian Turk, who served as the interim head coach the last two games of the season, has had the interim tag removed and is the new head coach of the program. Turk previously worked in a variety of capacities at South Carolina, including graduate assistant coach on Steve Spurrier's staff working with the quarterbacks before becoming assistant director of recruiting under Will Muschamp.

Kansas: In addition to Les Miles, sources tell FootballScoop Jeff Long considers Dan Enos a candidate for the position. Enos, who currently coaches quarterbacks at Alabama, served as offensive coordinator at Arkansas for three seasons under Bret Bielema (on Jeff Long's watch). The former Central Michigan head coach won 26 games in five seasons as head coach before leaving at the end of January 2015 to join Bielema's staff at Arkansas.

Miami Dolphins: Dolphins defensive coordinator Matt Burke is not at risk of being fired this season reports Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald. Salguero's sources add that regardless of what happens in their upcoming game in Green Bay, Adam Gase and the organization have no plans to make a change during the following bye week or this season at all.

Dallas Cowboys: Amid unending questions about his offense, head coach Jason Garrett seemed to indicate he might become more involved in play selection; but added "Right now, Scott Linehan is going to call the plays on offense."

Detroit Lions: Following letting go of his special teams coordinator Joe Marciano Monday night, Matt Patricia is publicly saying they plan to cover special teams as a staff; however, source tells FootballScoop the Lions have reached out to at least one current college coach who has experience coordinating special teams in the NFL about their special teams opening. Interesting timing. We'll see where this goes...

USA Football: This is a story that goes deeper than wins on the field to explore a community surrounding two teams, one family and the matriarch of a football town. This is the Leonard Story. Watch now and follow along with USA Football and the Chicago Bears on this journey.

Kansas State: There is building buzz within the coaching profession that soon enough Bill Snyder will announce this will be his final season as head coach at Kansas State. If Snyder does make that decision, the profession will be losing one of the great ones. Snyder, who has won 213 games in over 25 seasons at K-State, will forever be remembered as a giant in the Big 12, a man who did more with less, did it his way, who won and lost with grace, and the one and only Wizard of Manhattan. Snyder's Wildcats are 3-6 this season and will close out their season beginning this weekend with Kansas in Manhattan, Texas Tech in Manhattan and then at Iowa State.

Auburn: Just a few months after signing a big contract extension, AD Allen Green felt it necessary to share Gus Malzahn will return to lead the program next year.

Playoffs: Here are our #Nuggets style snapshots of the FCS and Division II playoffs.

Virginia University of Lynchburg (NCCAA): Virginia University of Lynchburg is looking for guaranteed away games for the 2019 and 2020 season. The team is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) and games are countable. We have openings on September 28, October 5, 12, 19 and 26, November 2 & 9. The 2018 football team competed against Hampton, Charleston Southern and Bethune-Cookman among others.
