Carolina Panthers: Richard Rogers has been announced as secondary coach, and Jeff Imamura will be the club's assistant secondary/cornerbacks coach. Additionally, Vincent Rivera has been named a defensive quality control coach, Mark Carrier has been promoted to senior advisor to the general manager, Jeff Morrow has been promoted to senior director of college scouting, pro scout Rob Hanrahan has been promoted to assistant director of pro personnel, Austin Bergstrom has been promoted to college scouting coordinator, college scouts Eric Stokes and Mike Szabo have been named regional directors of college scouting, Mike Martin has been named a southwest area scout, and Chris Herbert has been promoted to assistant video director.
Nevada: Courtney Viney, who coached corners last season for the Wolf Pack, has left the staff to accept another opportunity, we are told. We expect Jay Norvell to fill the role from within the staff.

Kentucky State (D-II): Kentucky State has hired former Southeastern Louisiana (FCS) defensive backs coach Kevin Weston to be their new defensive coordinator. Weston also previously served as the head coach at Clark Atlanta (D-II - GA).
Norwich (D-III - VT): Norwich has an opening for a defensive backs coach. This is a full-time position, with benefits. Responsibilities include: coaching the DBs, recruiting an area, some film work, and other duties assigned by the head coach and/or athletic director. Submit materials at this link.
College Football Playoff: Andrea Williams has been named the chief operating officer for the College Football Playoff. Williams comes form the Big Sky Conference, where she has been the commissioner the past two years and has also served as a member of college football's advisory committee and stadium operations team.

Apprentice School (D-III - VA): The Apprentice School located in Newport News, VA is accepting applications for an Offensive line Coach. This is a 12 month position. Compensation will be $20-22K no benefits (paid as an independent contractor (no taxes) qualified applicants will receive additional information). The Offensive line coach will be primarily responsible for helping develop the team offense and recruiting qualified applicants for The Apprentice School. Brent Musburger: Brent Musburger will be the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders' radio play-by-play man for the next two seasons, according to a report.
Northwestern: Todd McShane, who previously worked as assistant director of player personnel at Oregon State, has joined Pat Fitzgerald's staff as director of scouting.
Davenport (D-II - MI): Per source, Davenport has hired Otterbein (D-III - OH) offensive line coach / special teams coordinator Andy Fries as their new offensive line coach and special teams coordinator.
Mayville State: Mayville State University is looking to hire an immediate full-time Defensive Backs Coach/Instructor. Candidates must possess a master’s degree in Physical Education. The position is fully benefited and requires teaching 12 credits per year in the Health, Physical Education & Recreation department. Duties include but not limited to: assist DC in the development & implementation of defensive scheme & game plan, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, and recruiting responsibilities assigned by the head football coach. Bethany (D-III - WV): Bethany College is seeking a qualified applicants for the positions of intern assistant coach. The position will coach on defense, with the position to be determined by experience and background. Duties will include coaching, recruiting and fundraising. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach or the director of athletics. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, a valid driver's license, and playing experience at the collegiate level. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience coaching at the collegiate or high school level. Knowledge of and adherence to Bethany, NCAA Division III, and Presidents' Athletic Conference rules and regulations are also required. Compensation includes stipend ($9,000/year), room and board, and tuition waiver into Bethany’s MAT program. The selected candidates must be enrolled in Bethany's MAT program as a condition of employment. Start date is August 2018. This individual will assist the Head Coach in all phases of a NCAA Division III Football Program. This position is a nine month appointment beginning on August 1, 2018, pays $16,780 and is eligible for organizational benefits. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruitment of student-athletes on and off-campus, on field coaching, practice planning, monitoring student-athlete academic progress, video editing with Hudl and other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
