LSU: Les Miles and LSU have reached a final settlement agreement.

Erskine (D-II - SC): Shap Boyd, the defensive coordinator and safeties coach at UVA-Wise (D-II) will be the new head coach of the Erskine football program. Back in August, the school announced that they'd be bringing back the football program that was discontinued following the 1951 season. Boyd has previous coaching experience at Middle Tennessee State, Kentucky, Southeastern University (NAIA - FL), Muskingum (D-III - OH), Wash U (D-III - St. Louis, MO), Jacksonville State (FCS - FL), University of the South (D-III - TN), Lycoming (D-III - PA), Lock Haven (D-II - PA) and Lake Highland Prep (Orlando, FL).

Maryland: DJ Durkin will receive about a $5 million buyout from Maryland, president Wallace Loh noted today, per Rick Maese.

Aurora (D-III - IL): The school has now announced Don Beebe as the new leader of their program.

Seton Hill (D-II - PA): Head coach Isaac Collins and his staff have been let go. Seton Hill finished 2018 at 1-10 and Collins was 13-53 overall with the program with his best season in 2016 when they finished 5-6.

Cleveland Browns: John Dorsey says he's open to hiring a woman as the Browns' next head coach.

Aurora (D-III - IL): Sources tell FootballScoop that Aurora plans to announce Don Beebe as their new head coach. Beebe is a former NFL veteran who enjoyed a nine-year career with the Bills, Panthers and Packers (appearing in six Super Bowls) and is the former head coach at Aurora Christian HS (IL).

Kansas: Mark Mangino shared recently that he has no desire to return to Kansas in any capacity. Mangino coached the Jayhawks to the Orange Bowl following an outstanding 2007 season and briefly returned to coaching at Youngstown State in 2013 and as offensive coordinator on Paul Rhoads' Iowa State staff in 2014 - 15.

Lindenwood-Belleville (NAIA - IL): Lindenwood University-Belleville is currently looking for two full-time assistant coaches (1 defensive coordinator and 1 offensive position coach). Any interested candidates should contact head coach Pat Stewart at pstewart1@lindenwood.edu. We are looking to fill these positions by no later than 12/12/2018 for recruiting purposes.

ECU: The university has shared a timeline for a decision regarding the future of head coach Scottie Montgomery.

Miami vs. Arkansas State: The Hurricanes are paying a settlement of $400k to Arkansas State for their cancelled game due to Hurricane Irma. The original payment, had the game been played as scheduled, was supposed to be $650k.

Midwestern State (D-II - TX): Midwestern State University is currently seeking an offensive graduate assistant football coach. The position includes a stipend, dormitory housing and tuition assistance for graduate school. Coaching responsibilities to include; but not limited to, wide receivers and football operations. Experience in graphic design is preferred. Responsibilities include all aspects of the football program including; but not limited to, video editing & highlights, practice organization, contest preparation, recruitment weekends, student athlete development, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Willamette (D-III - OR): Sources tell FootballScoop head coach Glen Fowles and the other full time staff will not return. Fowles, who has served as head coach for seven seasons and been on staff for 23, met with the administration and mutually agreed to part ways we understand. In 2008, Fowles was named D-III Coordinator of the Year for his work as offensive coordinator at the time.

Kansas: As we wrote earlier this week, Dennis Dodd is now confirming Jedd Fisch is a candidate for the Kansas job, with Dodd adding that Fisch is "aggressively pursuing the Kansas job."

Western Michigan: Defensive coordinator Tim Daoust was let go yesterday. Co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach Lou Esposito will call the defense in the team's season finale Tuesday.
