Texas: Former Kansas head coach David Beaty will spend the week in Austin helping the UT staff game plan for the Big 12 Championship, tweets Anwar Richardson of Orangebloods. Beaty worked with Tom Herman at Rice in 2007.
Ball State: Source tells FootballScoop Ball State head coach Mike Neu is expected to return for 2019. Neu, the former New Orleans Saints' quarterbacks coach, recently completed his third season at Ball State.
McPherson College (NAIA - KS): Source tells FootballScoop defensive coordinator Ruzell McCoy is not being retained.

Cincinnati Bengals: According to Jason La Canfora, Hue Jackson could be in line to take over for Marvin Lewis in the event that the Bengals head coach decides to retire or take on a front office position. Minnesota: Following their win over rival Wisconsin, PJ Fleck removed the interim tag from defensive coordinator / defensive line coach Joe Rossi. Since taking over the defensive play calling duties from Robb Smith (who was let go) following a 55-31 loss to Illinois in early November, the Gophers have allowed 10 points to Purdue in a 41-10 win, 24 points to Northwestern in a 24-14 loss, and 15 points to Wisconsin Saturday in their season finale 37-15 win.
Indiana: After finishing 5-7 for the second year in a row, head coach Tom Allen noted at his post game presser that he's considering giving up the defensive play calling responsibilities. "I think as I continue to grow as a head coach, to be able to coach the coaches, coach the players, be able to be involved in all three phases, there's no question that's something that I'm thinking about, for sure," he shared via The Morehead News.
Michigan State: After their 14-10 win over Rutgers yesterday to get them to 7-5, Mark Dantonio wouldn't commit to staff changes, stating that those are "in-house" questions and decisions that he'll evaluate the staff as he does every year.
