Oakland Raiders: With his ESPN duties complete, the Raiders have formally announced Jon Gruden as their new head coach. A press conference is set for Tuesday.

Salaries: How head coach and assistant coaching salaries have grown in the past five years.

Alma College (D-III - MI): Source tells FootballScoop Alma is hiring Romeo HS (MI) co-head coach Jason Couch as their new head coach.

Western Illinois (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop defensive coordinator Tony Grantham and outside linebackers coach Ben Hodges are leaving the staff to pursue other opportunities.

Houston: Kendal Briles' deal is two years at $400,000 per and Randy Clements' is two years at $290,000 per (both per Joseph Duarte).

Cumberland (NAIA - TN): Source tells FootballScoop Brad Bustle will serve as interim head coach at Cumberland.

Green Bay: Former Packers OC Joe Philbin is rejoining the staff reports Rob Demovsky. Demovsky adds Philbin's role will be OC or similar. Philbin coached offensive line for the Colts the past two seasons.

Georgia Tech: As we first noted on December 22, Georgia Tech has now formally announced Nate Woody as defensive coordinator.

Belhaven: Delaware offensive line coach Blaine McCorkle has been named head coach at Belhaven. McCorkle spent the last nine seasons with Danny Rocco at Delaware, Richmond and Liberty.

University of Minnesota, Crookston (D-II – MN): UMC has an opening for an Offensive Coordinator. This is a full-time, 100% annual renewable position and is responsible for all aspects of running a college offense. This position will also assist with all phases of coaching, recruiting, training, conditioning, practices, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach or Athletic Director. ABachelor's Degree and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations are required. Preferred qualifications include previous coordinating experience, Division II recruiting experience, and a Master’s degree. Last night: In case you missed it, the two most newsworthy notes that came out after 5 last night...Missouri has hired Derek Dooley as OC...and LSU reached a settlement to pay Matt Canada $1.7 million to leave the staff. Canada was due $3.3 million under terms of his contract.

Tennessee Tech (FCS): Cumberland (NAIA - TN) head coach Donnie Suber will be Dewayne Alexander's defensive coordinator source tells FootballScoop.

Tennessee Titans: Although the Titans are in the playoffs, Mike Mularkey's job "is not safe" tweets RapSheet. Rap's sources say a loss could end his tenure with the organization "as the team prepares for a run at Patriots OC Josh McDaniels.

Incarnate Word (FCS - TX): Source tells FootballScoop Texas Tech offensive grad assistant Jordan Davis will join Eric Morris at UIW as receivers coach.

Concord University (D-II - WV): Concord University is looking for Graduate Assistants to interview at the upcoming AFCA Convention in Charlotte. Positions on offense and defense will be considered. The position includes a $8,000 stipend and tuition waiver for graduate courses. Minorities are encouraged to apply. Boise State: Bryan Harsin is promoting defensive grad assistant Spencer Danielson to full-time (10th assistant). Danielson will continue working with the Broncos' STUD position. Prior to joining Boise for this past season, Danielson spent four seasons at Azusa Pacific predominantly coaching the linebackers.

Green Bay: The Packers are hiring Colts receivers coach Jim Hostler tweets Alex Marvez.

Carolina: Panthers head coach Ron Rivera's extension is two years, $15.5 million per RapSheet. Rivera is now under contract through the 2020 season.

Green Bay: The Packers submitted a request to interview Seahawks GM John Schneider for their own GM position per RapSheet. The request was denied.

Illinois State: Brock Spack has hired former Minnesota assistant Brian Anderson as receivers coach. Andersen spent 2011 - 2016 at Minnesota.

Florida: Source tells FootballScoop linebackers coach Tim Skipper is not being retained. The versatile assistant has coached both sides of the ball at Florida (running backs and linebackers) and in the past at Colorado State, Fresno State, Sacramento State and Western New Mexico. Unrelated; but cool note, Tim's father (Jim) and brother (Kelly) are both coaching in the league, in playoff games tomorrow.

Houston Baptist: Former New Mexico Highlands head coach Jeff Mills has joined the Houston Baptist staff as defensive coordinator we are told.

Southern Miss: Corners coach Dan Disch is leaving to become head coach of the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes of the German Football League.

Houston: Major Applewhite is hiring FAU offensive coordinator Kendal Briles and former Baylor offensive line coach Randy Clements.

Louisiana-Lafayette: Billy Napier has two spots to finalize, corners and tackles / tight ends. We hear they plan to be patient in making those hires, looking for best fit.
