Arkansas: "I want to be the head coach at Auburn," Gus Malzahn said after Saturday's SEC Championship loss to Georgia. As we reported earlier this week, Auburn's loss allows Arkansas to pursue Gus as its top option, but Gus's camp has presented its ask to Auburn's president. Stay tuned.
Texas Tech: Special teams coordinator Joe Robinson will not return, sources tell FootballScoop. The 2010 FootballScoop Special Teams Coordinator of the Year, Robinson previously coached at South Carolina and also made stops at North Carolina, LSU, Arizona, UCF, Houston, Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss across his 28-year college career.
UCF: AD Danny White said UCF will conduct a national search to replace Scott Frost. "I think we have the most attractive opening in the nation right now he said." (Florida State is still open. Shots fired.) White also confirmed Scott Frost and the entire coaching staff will coach the Knights in the Peach Bowl on New Year's Day. Scott Frost will be introduced at Nebraska in a press conference tomorrow in Lincoln.
UCLA: Former Oregon defensive coordinator Don Pellum is going to join Chip Kelly's staff as linebackers coach, according to Aaron Fentress of NBC Sports Northwest and Adam Rittenberg of ESPN. FootballScoop can confirm.
USC: AD Lynn Swann confirmed "we're going to keep" head coach Clay Helton. USC won the Rose Bowl last year and stands at 11-2 with a Pac-12 Championship this year. Alrighty then.

Florida State: Sources told FootballScoop yesterday Willie Taggart is expected to be offered the Florida State head coaching position.
Montreal Als (CFL): The Als have requested permission to speak with Toronto receivers coach Tommy Condell about their open head coaching position we are told. Rick Moffat is reporting they have also requested to speak with defensive coordinator Corey Chamblin.
BC Lions (CFL): The Lions have hired Ed Hervey as their general manager. Wally Buono will remain head coach for next season.
