Rutgers: Despite the 1-10 record, and 7 wins in 3 seasons, Rutgers reportedly plans to bring Chris Ash back for 2019.

Northern Arizona (FCS): With head coach Jerome Souers stepping down and moving into a different role within the University, offensive coordinator Aaron Pflugrad will serve as interim head coach we are told.

Brown (FCS): Head coach Phil Estes has stepped down after 21 seasons. He led Brown to three Ivy League titles and finished with a 115-94 record including fifteen seasons at .500 or better.

Rising Stock: A 10-1 start to the season has Utah State head coach Matt Wells back on search firm radar.

Northern Colorado (FCS): Sources tell FootballScoop offensive coordinator Jon Boyer has been let go.

North Dakota (FCS): Head coach Bubba Schweigert has announced that offensive coordinator Paul Rudolph and offensive line coach Luke Knauf will not have their contracts renewed. Both coaches had been with the program with Schweigert since he took over prior to the 2014 season.

TCU: Gary Patterson responds to rumors of a pending retirement. 

Southern Illinois (FCS): Head coach Nick Hill has announced that assistant head coach / defensive coordinator Kraig Paulson, defensive line coach Austin Flyger, corners coach Carl Franks, and quarterbacks coach Michael Williamson will not have their contracts renewed.

Northern Arizona: Head coach Jerome Souers is reportedly set to retire after 21 seasons leading the Lumberjacks. Souers was 123-114 overall and ends his coaching career in Flagstaff as the team's all-time leader in wins in the Big Sky and among the top 15 in wins among FCS coaches in career wins. Update >> The school has now announced the move along with that Souers is moving into a new role in fundraising and Native American initiatives.

Rutgers: Chris Ash noted after their 20-7 loss to Penn State that offensive coordinator John McNulty will be back in 2019.

Tennessee Titans: Head coach Mike Vrabel provided an uplifting update on defensive coordinator Dean Pees, who was taken to the hospital during yesterday's game in Indianapolis. Pees spent the night in the hospital, but Vrabel shared that everything that would be considered worrisome has been ruled out by neurologists, and he's on his way back to Nashville to be with the team.

West Texas (D-II - TX): Offensive coordinator Ryan McDonough has resigned to spend more time with his family and a national search for his replacement will begin immediately.

William & Mary (FCS - VA): Mike London has now been announced as the program's new head coach.

Northern Colorado (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop head coach Earnest Collins Jr. will be retained. After winning 9 games in his first four seasons as head coach at Northern (2011 - 2014), his squad won 6 games in both 2015 and 2016. There was speculation that there would be a change after Collins' guys only won 3 games last season and two this year; but word we are hearing is that he is safe to return for 2019.

Portland State (FCS - OR): Athletic director Valerie Cleary gave head coach Bruce Barnum a vote of confidence following their loss to Eastern Washington, noting "I like the direction we are moving on and off the field," per The Oregonian. Barnum was promoted to interim head coach in 2015 after posting a 9-3 season, and was named head coach moving forward. Barnum went 3-8 in 2016, 0-11 in 2017 and 4-7 this year.

William & Mary (FCS - VA): Sources with direct knowledge tell FootballScoop Howard University head coach Mike London will be announced later today as head coach at William & Mary. More on the hire here.

LSU: Did LSU just burn $1.5 million? Yes, it appears they did... 

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University is looking for a defensive graduate assistant (LBs or DBs). Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA) and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Compensation package includes $8,000 / year and full-tuition waiver. McPherson (NAIA - KS): Per source, Jeremiah Fiscus has been named head coach at McPherson. Fiscus spend one season as the head coach at Blue Stem HS (Leon, KS) and prior to that spent six seasons at Henderson State (D-II - AR) as the offensive line coach before being promoted to offensive coordinator his last three years with the program.

Nichols College (D-III - MA): Per source, defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach Mark Sullivan has resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Midwest Prep (Postgrad - IL): Midwestern Preparatory Academy (IL): Midwest Prep Academy is a post secondary sports academy. Midwest Prep Academy is looking for assistant football coaches. The following coaching positions are open: QBs, DBs, LBs, DL and OL. All coaches must be willing and able to recruit players. Competitive pay, meals and housing are available. Head coaching changes: A number of schools made moves yesterday, including Colorado, Texas State, Charlotte, and Eastern Illinois, and Kansas made the hire of Les Miles official.

Trinity International (NAIA - IL): Trinity International (IL) University has an immediate opening for a Defensive Restricted Earnings position working with Linebackers or Defensive Backs. Applicants must have a strong Christian faith and work within Trinity International University’s Christian mission. The position will have their own recruiting area and will be responsible for coaching and managing their own position, including position meetings. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to film breakdown and data entry, assisting with special teams, recruiting, running positional meetings, assisting with game preparation, and other duties assigned by the head coach. The position includes housing and a $7,500 stipend.
