Minnesota Vikings: The organization has announced that head coach Mike Zimmer will return to Minnesota June 4th, and hopes to be cleared by doctors to return to work June 5th.

Chip Kelly: ESPN has signed Chip Kelly to work as a studio analyst for both college and NFL action. More on the details here.

Tusculum (D-II - TN): Tusculum College is looking for a volunteer football coach. Local candidates are encouraged to apply. The coach will work on the offensive side of the ball. The right candidate would have his own position to coach, area to recruit, and would be considered like any other full time coach. Grove City (D-III - PA): Grove City College announces an opening for an Intern Assistant Football and Strength and Conditioning Coach. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for coaching a position group (TBD) for the football team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: film breakdown, advance scouting, game planning, practice planning, motivation, and fostering a Christian environment. As well as supporting the head football coach and carrying out whatever assistant coaching responsibilities that are he is assigned (recruiting, meeting with alumni, etc.and others TBD.) The candidate also will also be responsible for assisting the strength and conditioning program for the entire athletic department. This will require collaborating with the strength and conditioning staff to develop and coach the proper workout protocol for all of the athletic programs at on Grove City College for both their in-season and out of season time periods.. The qualified candidate posesses a current strength and conditioning certification, preferably either CSCS, or CSCCa. UW-Oshkosh (D-III):The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is looking for two games for the 2017 season. We are open (week 2) Sept. 9th, (week 3) Sept. 16th and (week 4) Sept. 23rd. Please contact Athletic Director Darryl Sims at sims@uwosh.edu

Buffalo Bills: The Bills have made a number of moves in their scouting department; area scout Marcus Cooper is being promoted to BLESTO scout, area scout Pete Harris is being promoted to Northeast scout, and Chris Marrow is moving from national football scout to pro scout.

Susquehanna (D-III - PA): Susquehanna University is looking to hirean assistant football coach to work with the wide receivers. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing or coaching. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, on the road recruiting in a specific area, assist with film editing / breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. Fairleigh Dickinson (D-III – NJ): Fairleigh Dickinson has an opening for an intern assistant coach position from August until May. Compensation will be $7,000 and nine credits toward a Master’s degree. Many opportunities for professional development will be covered and there will be money available for the NCAA Convention. There are also opportunities to earn money out of season on campus. There is no housing, meals or benefits included. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coaching your own position, recruiting your own area (all expenses covered), academic monitoring, video, strength and conditioning and assisting the head coach in all phases of the program.
