Maryland: Maryland has added the following individuals to the panel overseeing the culture of the football program -- Dr. Frederick Azar, chief of staff at Campbell Clinic Orthopedics; Bonnie Bernstein, longtime ESPN, ABC and CBS journalist and Maryland alum; Robert Ehrlich, Jr., former Maryland governor and Princeton football player; Thomas McMillen, former U.S. Congressman and current president and CEO of LEAD1 Association; and Doug Williams, former Washington Redskins quarterback and senior vice president of player personnel. Those five additions bring the panel's roster to nine.
Alabama: Nick Saban's previously announced contract was formally approved by the school's Board today. In addition to making him the highest-paid coach in college football, the new deal increases Saban's incentives from $700,000 to $1.1 million. His buyout, as of right now, stands at "roughly" $33.2 million, according to USA Today's Steve Berkowitz. Additionally, AD Greg Byrne has signed a 3-year extension through the 2024-25 academic year, increasing his salary by $55,000 to $980,000 plus $300,000 per year in deferred compensation.
Iowa: Athletic director Gary Barta will pass on his scheduled $50k pay increase for 2018-19 in an effort to help the school's bottom line, the school has announced.
Carolina Panthers: Manchester City Football Club COO Tom Glick will be the Panthers' new president, tweets Jeff Darlington of ESPN.

Alabama: The Alabama board has approved a 3-year contract extension for athletic director Greg Byrne that now runs through June 30, 2025, Steve Berkowitz tweets. Also, Nick Saban's new eight-year deal, which was originally announced back in July- worth at least $74.4 million total - has also been approved.
Georgia Southern: The Georgia Southern Athletics Department is seeking a graphic designer to work solely within its football program. The focus of this position will be creating digital graphics and videos for the football program for recruiting and social media purposes.
