Mountain Home (AR): Per source, head coach Benji Mahan has resigned. We understand the job is now open.
Rio Linda (CA): Justin Reber has been named head coach at Rio Linda, according to sources. Reber previously won three league championships at Saddleback Valley Christian HS (CA).
Mercedes (TX): Sources tell us that head coach / athletic coordinator Michael Uribe has been reassigned and will not return.
Warner Christian (FL): Sources tell us that Warner University (NAIA - FL) quarterbacks coach DJ Mayo will be the new head coach at Warner Christian HS.
Goldthwaite (TX): Greg Proffitt, who was a co-head coach last season, has been hired as the new head coach / boys athletic director.
Madison (Adrian, MI): Madison HS has an opening for an assistant JV football coach with varsity responsibilities. There is a parapro position available starting later this month for the right candidate. Interested candidates must have high school coaching experience.. Thomasville (NC): Thomasville High School (2A) in Thomasville, NC has an immediate opening on its football staff for an assistant coach that can teach History. Thomasville is located in the Triad area of NC and is less than 30 minutes from Winston Salem, Greensboro, Highpoint, and about an hour from Charlotte. Fremont (CA): Fremont HS, in Sunnyvale, CA is looking for two assistant coaches. One opening is for a JV WR or LB coach. The other opening is for a varsity OL or LB coach. This could be a DC opportunity for those with significant HS or College level experience. There are no teaching/classified openings at this time, but that could change soon. Palmer Ridge (CO): Palmer Ridge High School in Monument, CO is seeking applicants for an Offensive Varsity Position Coach - Running Backs or Wide Receivers, and applicants for a Defensive Varsity Position Coach- Defensive Line or Linebackers. Proficient in skills, drills, techniques, and terminology of RB or WR position and is able to teach and develop young players in a pro-style, spread offense or a 3-4 defense. This position is a varsity position with Varsity and JV responsibilities and would include a year round commitment, as well as a heavy duty commitment during the summer and season with film, meetings, practice, etc. A coaching stipend is available for this position.
