Lane Kiffin to return to Alabama in 2015 (Featured)

Alabama announced that offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin will return for a second season on Saturday, and did so in the always-clunky "quote by multiple tweet" format.

A finalist for the Broyles Award as college football's top assistant and lauded for his work with first-time starting quarterback Blake Sims, Kiffin helped Alabama rank 14th nationally at 6.66 yards per play and 16th in scoring offense at 36.9 points per game as the Tide claimed an SEC championship and an appearance in the inaugural College Football Playoff.

However, the Tide's scoring and per play numbers were actually down slightly from 2012 and 2013. Kiffin's second act in Tuscaloosa will be to place Alabama's starting quarterback, leading ball-carrier and top three wide receivers, including Heisman Trophy finalist Amari Cooper.
