Since 1907, Central Michigan and Western Michigan have battled for the Victory Cannon. WMU holds a 10-game advantage in the series and had claimed three straight entering the season.
But that changed last night.
The Chips ripped off three unanswered touchdowns to rally for a 35-28 victory, and Central Michigan brought the Victory Cannon home with them to Mount Pleasant for the first time since 2013.
And the phrase "brining it home" isn't just figurative here. CMU head coach John Bonamego literally brought the trophy into bed with him.
The bluntness of this troll is excellent. "In case anyone forgot, we won last night."
God bless college football.
