Paul Laurence Dunbar (KY): First-year head coach Wes Johnson is hiring former Kentucky wide receiver Alex Montgomery as an assistant coach, per Kentucky.com.

Carver-Montgomery (AL): Former Auburn quarterback Jeremy Johnson is returning to his alma mater as an assistant coach, where he will work with the quarterbacks.
Perquimans (Hertford, NC): Perquimans County HS is looking to hire a Junior Varsity Head Coach. We are located 45 minutes from the Outer Banks, 20 minutes from Elizabeth City, and 35 minutes from Virginia We have not had a JV team in over ten years but we will field one this coming up season. We had an extremely successful middle school program that went undefeated and we expect the kids to stay together on JV. Applicants should be passionate, have great energy, and love being around young men. There are teaching positions open starting in September. There is also a potential for a defensive coordinator position (on varsity) for the right candidate and could be a JV head coach and varsity DC postion. Lexington Catholic (KY): Lexington Catholic head coach Mark Perry has left to become the director of operations at Troy.

Palatka (FL): Willie Fells, the former defensive coordinator at Bethel (NAIA - TN), has been named head coach, per source.
Douglas (AZ): Douglas HS, a 4A level school located in southern Arizona with an enrollment of just under 1,400 students, has an opening for Varsity Defensive Coordinator. Douglas school district has multiple full time teaching and long term substitute openings for 2018. Harvard Westlake (CA): Mike Burnett who led Tuscarora (VA) to the Class 5 State title game this year has resigned to take over as the head coach at Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles. Burnett has been the Head Coach since the school opened in 2010 has led them to two state championship appearances in 8 seasons and compiled a 77-24 record, prior to that he was the head coach at Broad Run (VA) from 2006-09, leading them to state titles in 2008 and 2009.
Briar Woods (VA): Charlie Pierce who took a leave of absence for the 2017 season has resigned. Mike Groves recently served as interim head coach for the 2017 season. Pierce led Briar Woods to 3 consecutive State titles 2010-12 in Class 4 in 12 seasons.
