Pasadena Dobie (TX): Head coach Mike Norman has resigned after three years on the job, per DCTF's Matt Stepp.
Miami Jackson (FL): According to a report from Andy Slater of 940 WINZ, Lakatriona Brunson will not return to coach the team in 2018. Brunson made headlines as the first female head coach in Florida high school football history when she was hired two years ago. In those two seasons leading the program, Brunson went 3-7 and 4-5.
Windermere (CA): Head coach Greg Miller has resigned after one year, an 0-10 finish.
Alemany (CA): Head coach James Washington will not return after two seasons.
North Douglas (OR): JJ Mast has decided to step down as head coach, but will remain with the school as athletic director.
North Vermilion (LA): Head coach Richard Prejean has stepped down, but plans to remain with the program.
Denmark (GA): Jamie Corr has been hired as the school's new AD.
TR Miller (AL): Head coach Andrew Thomas has resigned after two seasons.
Keokuk (IA): Matt McGhghy has resigned as the head football coach at Keokuk HS.
North Platte (NE): We hear the head coaching position is open, as well as assistant coaching positions.
Research: Using Trap and Cloud Coverages to Defend Trips – At Alabama prep powerhouse Opelika High School, Defensive Coordinator Erik Speakman is starting to see more perimeter run game to the away side of his split field coverage concepts, which stresses his away backer and weak safety in the 4-2-5. By incorporating trap coverage, he is able to get quick run support from the boundary corner while the cloud check protects runs to the trips side. Thomasville (GA):Thomasville HS, located 30 minutes north of Tallahassee, FL, is looking to potentially buy out an opponent for the 2018-2019 football seasons. There are presently three dates that are currently available to fill two games. These dates are August 31st, 2018, September 7th, 2018 and September 14th, 2018. For the 2019 season, these dates will be September 6th, 2019, September 13th, 2019 and September 20th, 2019. If you are interested please email Athletic Director Chris Merritt at merrittc@tcitys.org.

Open to a home or away as well as possible two year agreement. Would prefer an in state opponent but might consider an out of state if travel is within reason.
