2018 Changes
Morris took the head coaching job at Incarnate Word. Juluke returned to Louisiana as the associate head coach and running backs coach at Louisiana-Lafayette. Robinson was not retained. Scott joined Juluke at Louisiana-Lafayette as defensive coordinator, then left a month later to join the Alabama staff.
Clay Jennings was hired away from Houston as defensive backs coach. Former Red Raider Brett Dewhurst was also hired as safeties coach, which means Gibbs will have to switch positions in 2018.
The offensive coordinator job remains open at this time, as does the running backs job. Special teams duties have not been divvied up, either.
Tenth Assistant
No action has been taken as of yet though, with two hires replacing one departure on defense, expect the 10th assistant to handle running backs or receivers, depending on who the offensive coordinator ends up being.
