The December 20th early National Signing Day may be new, but programs taking to social media to announce their signing class is not.
If your Twitter feed is anything like ours, it was bombarded with signing day announcement after announcement, and like we've done in years past, we wanted to shed some light on some of the more creative and eye-catching designs and announcements that programs decided to use this year.
Here are the ones that have caught the eye of our staff so far:
Michigan State:
For the second year in a row, Mark Dantonio flipped around the normal signing day tradition of putting on a hat to announce the decision, with the head coach of the Spartan donning a hat from the recruit's high school.
The Spartans also put together this futuristic video
Oklahoma:
The Sooners were smart to get Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield in on their creative announcement.
Oregon: The Ducks are known for their futuristic spin on lots of things, and their signing day announcement is the perfect example.
Iowa State:
Having players sign their name like this is a nice little touch
UConn: Randy Edsall's team brought back some well-known alums with NFL experience, like Dan Orvlosky, to give a scouting report on their signees.
Georgia:
UGA's is short, but impressive
Tennessee: The graphic that the Vols are using are pretty cool looking
Washington:
What the Huskies are doing with their announcements are as unique as anything out there today
