Anonymous Missouri player: "If we were 9-0, this wouldn't be happening." (Top)

The Missouri football strike continues Monday, though it appears not everyone in black and gold is as wholly united as the pictures floating around social media make them appear.

Speaking to ESPN's Brett McMurphy on condition of anonymity, a Tigers player (who is white), said, "As much as we want to say everyone is united, half the team and coaches -- black and white -- are pissed. If we were 9-0, this wouldn't be happening.

"Not everyone agrees with the decision [to stop all football activities]. Most people are pissed, including the black guys on the team."

The team will not hold any official functions today (Monday is the team's customary off day), though the player indicated the coaching staff told the team to watch film on their iPads in advance of Saturday's date with BYU in Kansas City.

Elsewhere on campus, Missouri's student government has joined in the calls for system president Tim Wolfe to step down.

UM's Board of Curators is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. CT.
