When Citadel assistant Everette Sands got word he had an opportunity to play in a fun Pro-Am event alongside professional golfers, one could only imagine how he was looking forward to a low-key opportunity to golf alongside some of the game's best.
What started off low key turned into an awkward TV interview with a local station when Sands was mistaken for legendary Texas quarterback Vince Young.
Sands, who hold the title of offensive skill specialist on Maurice Drayton's staff at The Citadel, did a nice job of taking it in-stride but it made for an incredibly awkward TV moment.

He was an All American as a Junior, and perhaps most impressively, was never tackled behind the line of scrimmage in all 741 carries in college.
During his fcareer he was a four-time All Conference running back,
Take a look.
I’m dying laughing they thought they were talking to Vince Young, might be the most awkward interview I’ve ever seen pic.twitter.com/cjz0gYqg9D
