Cincinnati: An update on Cincinnati's search and on which UC coaches are headed to Wisconsin with Luke Fickell.
Auburn: Jeremy Garrett will come with Hugh Freeze from Liberty as defensive line coach, tweets Mike Gittens of The War Rapport.
Charlotte: Mike Hartline is expected to become the new passing game coordinator / wide receivers coach on Biff Poggi's staff, Bruce Feldman tweets. Hartline spent last season coaching at Auburn where he was elevated to quarterbacks coach following Bryan Harsin's dismissal. He previously served as offensive coordinator at Ohio Dominican.
Nebraska: Former interim head coach Mickey Joseph was arrested for strangulation and third degree domestic assault earlier today. Nebraska has placed him on administrative leave.
Georgia Tech: Brent Key has made the decision to release offensive coordinator Chip Long, receivers coach Del Alexander and strength coach Lew Caralla from their contracts Ken Sugiura of the AJC reports.
Auburn: Matt Zenitz tweets that the along with Cadillac Williams (who has already been formally retained), Zach Etheridge (Associate HC / Secondary) and Christian Robinson (LBs / RGC) are the other two assistants "seem to be considerations" for spots on Freeze's new staff and Hugh has parted ways with the other coaches.
UAB: The program has formally announced the hire of Trent Dilfer.
Charleston Southern (FCS): Gabe Giardina, who went 37-17 taking over the Albany State (D-II - GA) program, has been named the new head coach of the Buccaneers. He previously served as the offensive coordinator at Charleston Southern under Jamie Chadwell.
Auburn: AL.com shares that special teams coordinator / edge coach Roc Bellantoni is not being retained. Cole Cubelic adds that defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh is also not being retained.
West Virginia: Wren Baker's contract begins on December 19th and is a six-year deal through 2028 htat will pay $1.1 million per year, plus incentives, per Hoppy Kerceval.
NCAA Loophole: There seems to be a loophole regarding the substitution rule just waiting to be taken advantage of.
Juniata (D-III - PA): Juniata College invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month position of Head Football Coach. Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of full time coaching experience at the Division III level or higher, the demonstrated ability to recruit highly successful student-athletes, and an understanding of the Division III philosophy and its role at a private liberal arts institution. Albright (D-III - PA): Albright currently has two defensive staff openings: Safety Coach and a Corner Coach. Pay for both positions is $10,000 over 10 months and housing. Graduate School Classes and path way to Master’s Degree is part of Employee Benefits. Must get accepted in Graduate School to pursue this benefit. Nebraska: Monday morning we shared that Matt Rhule was planning to hire Marcus Satterfield and Jake Peetz as key pieces to his offensive staff. Later Monday the Satterfield move became public. This morning Pete Thamel confirms Peetz is also headed to Nebraska.

Los Angeles Valley College (JC - CA): Los Angeles Valley College is seeking applicants for assistant football coaches. Positions available will be Offensive Coordinator, Quarterbacks, and Offensive Line. Duties will include assisting with football operations, recruiting, practice organization, video editing, and other football related activities. Bachelor’s degree with two years’ experience preferred or equivalency. Stipend only! Possibility for Class assignment with a Master’s Degree. No housing or benefits offered. Central Oklahoma: University of Central Oklahoma is seeking applicants for a Defensive Graduate Assistant. This position will include but is not limited to assisting with position meetings, running drills during practice, assisting with Special Teams, assisting in recruiting, travel and game day duties as assigned, Student-Athlete Development, and any other responsibilities assigned by the Head Coach, Coordinator and/or position coach. Graduate assistants will receive a monthly stipend of $600 and 6 hours of Graduate classes paid for. Meals and housing are NOT provided. Applicant must be accepted into a UCO graduate program and enrolled for spring 2023 classes. Positions are open until filled. Applicants need to email resume and references to ddonald@uco.edu.
