Central Michigan: FootballScoop reached out again today to Central Michigan athletics "leadership" seeking an update on CMU's investigation into how Connor Stalions was credentialed, in team gear and on their sideline vs Michigan State earlier this season. No response once again. The last correspondence we received from anyone at CMU was from their general counsel's office last week when they advised us that no documents were expected to be made available until after the football season.
Carolina Panthers: Head coach Frank Reich notes that he will resume play calling duties this weekend. Reich previously handed play calling responsibilities to offensive coordinator Thomas Brown after the team's 0-6 start. Brown helped lead the team to one win before dropping the Panthers lost their last two games.
Northwestern: After leading the team to a 5-5 record with two games left as the interim head coach, Northwestern is reportedly set to elevate David Braun to the permanent head coaching spot.
