UCLA: Chip Kelly is reportedly expected to hire a Ravens assistant as his new defensive coordinator.

Cleveland Browns: Ian Rapoport tweets that the team has interviewed Jets special teams assistant Leon Washington. Colts special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone and Giants assistant Anthony Blevins have also interviewed.

Denver Broncos: Sean Payton is interviewing Matt Patricia for his defensive coordinator position Ian Rapoport has shared. 

Notre Dame: Sources tell FootballScoop Notre Dame is making a push to hire former Ole Miss head coach Matt Luke as offensive line coach. Luke coached offensive line at Georgia for the 2020 & '21 seasons. 

Baltimore Ravens: Tee Martin is moving from receivers coach to quarterbacks John Harbaugh has announced. 

Oklahoma State: We now know just how big a raise Bryan Nardo got in moving from Division II Gannon University to Oklahoma State

Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys have promoted offensive assistant Scott Tolzien to quarterbacks coach, according to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Tolzien played quarterback at Wisconsin from 2007-10 and in the NFL from 2011-17. He's been with the Cowboys since 2020. 

Houston Texans: Sources tell FootballScoop the Texans are targeting Troy offensive line coach Cole Popovich for key role. 

Utah State: Francisco Llanos, who was the assistant wide receivers coach for the program last year, has accepted the wide receivers job at Logan HS (UT).

Jacksonville Jaguars: Nick Holz, who spent last season as the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at UNLV and spent a decade on the Raiders staff prior to that, is now working as passing game coordinator for the Jags, Mia O'Brien reports.

Tampa Bay Bucs: Jeff Kastl has been brought back as an offensive quality control coach, per Greg Auman. Kastl had been among the coaches let go after the season, but has now been hired back.

West Georgia (D-II): Per source, Bryant (FCS - RI) pass game coordinator / quarterbacks coach Tom Sydeski has accepted the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks position at West Georgia.

Memphis: Matt Zenitz tweets that Texas personnel analyst Tony Shields is expected to be the new director of player personnel for the Tigers.

Louisiana Christian (NAIA): Louisiana Christian University is seeking a full time Offensive Line Coach with benefits. Job Responsibilities include running a position room, recruiting an area, film breakdown, all practice setup and breakdown, overseeing academics of the position group and all other responsibilities assigned by the Head Football Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Athletic Director. The starting date would be as soon as possible. Candidate must adhere to the Louisiana College personal conduct policy. A Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of a background check is required. Miami Dolphins: The team is hiring Eagles defensive quality control coach Joe Kasper as their new safeties coach, Tom Pelissero tweets.

Washington Commanders: Tom Pelissero tweets that the team has expressed a high level of interest in hiring Greg Lewis, who has coached multiple positions for the Chiefs, to a spot on Eric Bieniemy's offensive staff.

Arizona Cardinals: Jonathan Gannon continues to turn to the college level, this time the Big Ten, to fill roles on defensive staff.

Alcorn State (FCS): Former Tuskegee (D-II - AL) defensive line coach / DFO Tommie Lewis Jr is the new defensive line coach at Alcorn State. 

Hiram (D-III - OH): Hiram College is seeking applicants for offensive and defensive graduate assistant coaching positions. The Graduate Assistant Coach position is a 10-month role that reports to the Head Football Coach and Director of Athletics. Responsibilities include coaching a position group, managing a recruiting territory, coordinating on-campus visits, Hudl video, scouting reports/breakdowns and other duties assigned. Experience playing at the college level is preferred. The position includes full tuition to graduate school, housing, meal plan and a $5,000 stipend. Admission to the Hiram College Master of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (minimum GPA of 3.0) is required. Position will start August 1, 2023. Hiram College is a private liberal arts institution located in northeast Ohio. The College is a member of the North Coast Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III. Arkansas State: Ryan Favre has joined the staff as an offensive graduate assistant working with the offensive line. Favre coached the tight ends at Stetson (FCS - FL) last season and was a student assistant at Georgia Southern prior to that.

Calvin (D-III - MI): Former Grant HS (MI) head coach / athletic director Michael Stephan has been hired as offensive line coach / recruiting coordinator. Before leaving for the role at Grant, Stephan played and coached the offensive line at Hope (D-III - MI).

Philadelphia Eagles: Jeremy Fowler tweets that the Eagles and defensive coordinator candidate have mutually decided that they will not move forward with his candidacy for the defensive play caller role, adding that Leonhard had planned to sit out of coaching for the year while he underwent hip surgery but initially moved forward after both sides had interest in discussing the position.

Arizona Cardinals: Ben Steele, who was an assistant offensive line coach for the Broncos last year, is joining the staff as tight ends coach, Tom Pelissero tweets.

Buena Vista (D-III - IA): Buena Vista University has an opening for a full-time Offensive Line coach. The Assistant Football Coach will work in conjunction with the Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator to fulfill the following responsibilities: coaching student athletes, mentoring intern coaches, scouting opponents, recruiting various territories, tracking equipment and developing alumni contacts. This is a 10-month, full-time staff position with benefits and an immediate start date. Bachelor’s degree is required. Minority candidates are encouraged to apply. Wayne State (D-II - MI): Arkansas Pine-Bluff (FCS) defensive coordinator Tom Sims has been named defensive coordinator / defensive line coach on Tyrone Wheatley's staff. Sims is a Detroit Native who has previous coaching stops at Savannah State, Youngstown State, Kansas, Illinois, Minnesota, Eastern Michigan, and Western Kentucky.

Linfield (D-III - OR): Linfield is no longer accepting applicants for the staff vacancy. Thanks for the overwhelming interest.

Arizona Cardinals: In addition to Patrick Toney, who we wrote about this morning, the Cardinals are also expected to add Florida tight ends coach William Peagler to the staff, per source. More on Peagler's role and his path to the NFL here.

Saint Xavier (NAIA - IL): Saint Xavier has TWO open dates on October 21st and October 28th and are looking to fill at least one of them. We are willing to play any level so if anyone is interested, please contact head coach Mike Feminis at feminis@sxu.edu.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Jerry Olsavsky, who has spent over two decades as a player and coach for the Steelers organization, will not return following the addition of Aaron Curry as the new inside linebackers coach, Gerry Dulac tweets.

Murray State (FCS – KY): Murray State University is currently accepting applications for a Defensive Graduate Assistant working with the Linebackers. Tusculum (D-II - TN): Tusculum University is looking for a Defensive Graduate Assistant to work with the Defensive Backs. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and a 2.7 GPA or above and be eligible for grad school. Job duties include coaching the corners or safeties, practice/game preparation, film breakdown, data entry, and other duties assigned by the head coach or defensive pass game coordinator. The applicant should have basic computer skills and the ability to work with Visio, Hudl, and PowerPoint. Southwest Baptist (D-II - MO): Per source, assistant head coach and offensive line coach Brandon Niccum has been promoted to co-offensive coordinator.

Arizona Cardinals: Commanders receivers coach Drew Terrell is to join Jonathan Gannon's staff in Arizona, Jeremy Fowler tweets.

Washington Commanders: Former Stanford offensive coordinator Tavita Pritchard is a "prime candidate" to join the Commanders staff, Jeremy Fowler tweets. Fowler adds that assistant Jim Hostler will not return and Chiefs running backs coach Greg Lewis is also a name to watch to join the staff.

Colorado: Coach Prime's first Colorado spring game is two months from today, and already ticket sales are up approximately 10 billion percent from years past.

Albright (D-III - PA): Jeff Knarr, the former King's College (D-III - PA) head coach the last 13 seasons, has accepted the director of player personnel / assistant director of admissions job at Albright.

Kentucky: CJ Conrad has been elevated from graduate assistant to quality control coach for offense and Michael Priefer Jr. has joined the staff as quality control coach for special teams.

John Carroll (D-III - OH): Former Kent State defensive coordinator Tom Kaufman, who just joined the staff at John Carroll as defensive coordinator a few weeks ago, has left the staff to become the new head coach at Gilmour Academy (OH).

Tampa Bay Bucs: Thad Lewis is being promoted to quarterbacks coach. He previously served as assistant wide receivers coach for the Bucs, and initially joined the staff as the Bill Walsh Coaching Fellow under Bruce Arians in 2020.

Houston Texans: DeMeco Ryans is adding Colts offensive line coach Chris Strausser as offensive line coach and Broncos tight ends coach Jake Moreland to the same post in Houston, per Aaron Wilson.

Gary Bernardi: After more than 40-years coaching, Bernardi is retiring from coaching.

Austin Peay (FCS - TN): Austin Peay has two Quality Control positions open currently (1 Offensive and 1 Defensive). Job responsibilities will include working directly with each offensive and defensive coordinator to assist with film breakdown, practice preparation, game preparation and other duties as assigned. Philadelphia Eagles: Michigan defensive coordinator Jesse Minter is among the candidates that have interviewed with the Eagles.

Olivet Nazarene (NAIA - IL): Olivet Nazarene University is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant on Offense. Preference will be given to experience with Wide Receivers. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of strategy, successful recruiting ability, and strong leadership. Photoshop expertise preferred. Applicants must have a strong Christian faith and a desire to work within Olivet Nazarene’s Christian mission. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, coaching a position, recruiting, and investing in the academic & spiritual growth of players. Tuition, stipend and subsidized housing available. Cincinnati: A Group of Five coordinator is reportedly joining the defensive staff. This marks the 41st defensive coordinator change at the FBS level.

Maine Maritime (D-III): Calvin Powell has been tabbed the new head coach of the Maine Maritime program, which is looking to be revived after it was indefinitely suspended in 2020 due to financial challenges of COVID. Powell most recently served as assistant head coach / offensive line coach at Langston (NAIA - OK).

Utah State: Blake Anderson will have to replace both coordinators heading into Year 3 with defensive coordinator Ephraim Banda set to take an NFL post
