Conference USA: C-USA's board of directors released the following statement tonight. "Conference USA membership continued evaluation, including robust discussion with medical experts, on Wednesday night. Myocarditis, mental health and enhanced testing protocols remain the focus."
Charlotte-App State: Charlotte and App State have added a Sept. 12 game in Boone. The addition gives Charlotte 11 scheduled games this fall and brings App up to nine games.
NCAA eligibility & recruiting: The Division I Council has recommended to the D 1 Board of Directors that any Fall sport athlete who competes and then opts out or whose season is cut short due to Covid-19 will have their eligibility extended by a year (as long as they participate in less than 50% of the maximum number of competitions allowed). Additionally, the NCAA extended the dead period through at least September 30th.

Ohio State: Gene Smith told ESPN this afternoon that, after exploring the possibility, Ohio State will not play any games this fall. Ryan Day alluded to the possibility this morning.
49ers: A couple of reported changes on the 49ers staff today: Chris Foerster becomes a full-time staff member after having served as a consultant the past two seasons (link) and Miles Austin, who served in a quality control capacity last season, is no longer part of the staff (link).
Bill Yeoman: Long-time University of Houston head coach Bill Yeoman has died. Please join us in praying for Coach, his family and friends.
Conference USA: C-USA presidents and ADs will hold a call with medical experts tonight, per the Denton Record-Chronicle. The league is planning to move forward with its football season at this time.
Howard Mudd: Legendary offensive line coach Howard Mudd, who had been in a Seattle hospital the past two weeks following a motorcycle accident, has died. May God welcome his heavenly kingdom.
Kansas State: Kansas State has added a Sept. 12 home game with Arkansas State, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
Baylor: Baylor will not play a non-conference game this fall. Their schedule will remain at nine games.
Buffalo Bills: Head coach Sean McDermott has agreed to a 6-year contract extension, keeping him with the club through 2025.
Ohio State: Ryan Day said today Ohio State will explore the possibility of finding other Big Ten teams willing to play this fall. More here.
Florida State: Amid everything else going on, Florida State will hold a scrimmage on Saturday.
Philadelphia Eagles: Head coach Doug Pederson is back to work today, after previously testing positive for COVID-19, Adam Schefter tweets.
Every coach needs to read this today: "No pandemic or cancellation is doing to dampen my love of this game or profession."
Southern University - Shreveport (JC - LA): The Southern Shreveport Jags are currently looking for coaches in the Shreveport/Bossier City area to fill O-Line/D-Line and Linebacker coaching positions. Coaching/Recruiting experience is a must! Duties include position related practice planning, supervision of the specific position groups and the duties related to everyday operations of the football program. Monthly Stipend available. Big 12: The Big 12 is releasing its 2020 schedule today.
GLIAC (D-II): The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is suspending all sports competitions until Jan. 1. The conference includes football programs in Ohio and Michigan including; Ferris State, Ashland, Davenport, Grand Valley State, Michigan Tech, Northern Michigan, Northwood, Saginaw Valley State and Wayne State.
Gulf South (D-II): The Gulf South is postponing football, basketball, soccer and volleyball competitions until at least Jan. 1. The league consists of Delta State, Mississippi College, North Greenville, Shorter, Valdosta State, West Alabama, West Florida and West Georgia.
Big South Conference (FCS): The conference announced today that it will not play football in the fall. They expect to attempt to play in the spring. With that said, the conference members voted to allow up to four non-conference games per institution this fall if they so choose.
NFL: Veterans are allowed on the practice field for the first time today. This week it is up to 90 minutes per day; helmets, but no pads. Padded practices begin Monday.
Big 12: Big news from last night as Big 12 presidents are allowing the season to continue. Word is their season timing will align with the SEC's schedule. More here.
LA Chargers: Head coach Anthony Lynn revealed in last night's episode of "Hard Knocks" a previously undisclosed COVID-19 diagnosis. He has since recovered.
Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University has an offensive graduate assistant (RB/Strength) position available. Computer skills preferred. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA) and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Compensation package includes $8,000/year and Full-Tuition waiver. Big Ten: The Big Ten became the first Power Five conference to cancel fall sports.
Masters of Sports Administration: Upper Iowaβs MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Education.
Washington Football Team: The team has announced that there will be no fans at home games this season.
PAC-12: Following the lead of the Big 10, the PAC-12 also cancelled fall sports.
