Pittsburg State (D-II - KS): Pittsburg State University is looking to fill a graduate assistant position in Recruiting/Football. The position will be responsible for the following: Recruiting, Graphics, Video Coordination, Social Media, and assisting on Offense. This position will include tuition assistance and a stipend. Fort Hays State (D-II - KS): Fort Hays State University has an immediate opening for the position of Defensive Graduate Assistant. The position will start this Spring (January 2024).The stipend for a graduate assistant position is $10,000 for a 10-month contract The position includes 18 graduate credit hours per year (9 hours per semester). Bachelor’s degree is required and applicants must be accepted into graduate school. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head coach and defensive staff with day-to-day operations, practice planning and set-up, film breakdown, equipment, travel, recruiting a territory, assisting with a position group, and other duties related to the position as assigned by the head coach. Coffeyville CC (JC - KS): Defensive coordinator Nick Dobler has been elevated to head coach. Dobler has led the CCC defense the last four seasons.
Independence CC (JC - KS): Independence Community College is looking for volunteer coaches on both sides of the ball to join the staff in mid-January or early February. Position will be based on best fit for the program. Duties will include assistance with your position/position coach, film breakdowns, management of position group on and off the field, having your own recruiting area, and other duties assigned by Coordinators and Head Coach. These positions are especially beneficial to young coaches looking to get into the college game. Position comes with no compensation but free housing and meals. Pittsburgh Steelers: The team announced they have parted ways with offensive coordinator Matt Canada. The move marks the first in-season coaching change for the organization dating back to 1941.
Army: For America's Game, Army will wear tan uniforms honoring 3rd Infantry Division of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Navy: The Midshipmen will wear special submarine inspired "Silent Service" uniforms and hand painted helmets for their rivalry game with Army.
Concord (D-II - WV): Concord University is seeking applicants for a Defensive and Offensive graduate assistant coaching position. Responsibilities include coaching a position, managing a recruiting territory, film breakdowns and other duties assigned by the head coach and defensive coordinator. Experience playing or coaching WR or DB at the college level is preferred. Position includes tuition waiver and $5,000 per semester stipend. Housing is not provided. Position starts January 1. Springfield (D-III - MA): Springfield College, a Division-III institution located in Springfield, MA has three graduate assistant openings starting in January of 2024. Interviews will begin in December. The position covers a full time academic course load (the academic programs typically take two years to complete) and $7,800 stipend. There is no housing or meals associated with the position. Graduate assistants at Springfield will have their own position group to work with where they will be expected to run their own meetings, plan practice, run individual time, contribute to game planning, work with special teams, and other duties assigned by the head coach. The candidate will also be responsible for the recruitment of student athletes and will be expected to recruit on the road year round. Preference will be given to candidates with experience coaching at the high school or collegiate level as well as skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio), DVSport, Hudl, and Photoshop. The position is contingent upon being accepted to graduate school at Springfield College. Candidates must have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher and may have to take the GREs depending on their academic program of study.
