LSU: New defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey nearly doubled his salary in making the move to LSU. 

Texas College (NAIA): Texas College is looking to hire a defensive coordinator with secondary experience. We are also looking to hire a high energy defensive line coach. Defensive coordinator salary range likely to be between $35-$40k, defensive line job likely to be $20-$25k plus a job on campus. Nichols College (D-III - MA): Nichols Football is looking to hire a defensive assistant coach (all positions welcome). The position includes a stipend of $5,000. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, assist with recruiting, watching film with student-athletes, film breakdown, and assist defensive coordinator in other coaching responsibilities. Baker (NAIA - KS): Baker University is looking to hire an offensive graduate assistant. The position will begin on July 1st, 2023. The position will receive a full tuition reimbursement and a $8,500 stipend. Preference will be given to candidates with experience coaching WR’s. Louisville: In putting a fresh coat of paint on its field, Louisville hopes to tell a story about the team that plays on it.

Misericordia (D-III - PA): Misericordia is seeking applicants for (1) Offensive and (1) Defensive Graduate Assistant (position is best fit) (Some coaching experience is desired). The GA will be responsible for developing a position group, film breakdown, managing a recruiting area, and other duties as assigned by the head football coach. This position includes full tuition remission in MBA or MA Education program, 10k dollar stipend, meal plan, access to low cost housing, and paid expenses to AFCA. Muskingum (D-III - OH): Muskingum University D3 in the OAC is looking for a restricted earnings coach on the defensive side of the ball but want the best candidate. Stipend, housing, meals included. Please email head coach Erik Ieuter at eieuter@muskingum.edu with a resume/letter of interest.

San Francisco 49ers: Daniel Bullocks, who has been a part of the staff since 2017 and spent the last four seasons as the safeties coach, will coach the defensive backs this fall, while Nick Sorensen is moving from defensive assistant to defensive passing game specialist / nickels coach. Also, Andrew Hayes-Stoker has been elevated to assistant defensive backs coach and former Giants linebacker Cameron Brown has joined the staff as a defensive quality control coach. 

North Park (D-III - IL): North Park University is accepting applications for a part-time wide receivers voach. This is a seasonal, 4-month position. Compensation includes a $4,000 stipend and some meals. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, coaching and/ or playing experience at the Wide Receiver Position and have a personal commitment to North Park’s mission of Christian higher education. Strong interpersonal skills, a tireless work ethic, and a desire to learn are essential to the position. Highest Paid Coaches: Offensive coordinators can draw up a pretty playbook, but their blueprint is nothing more than lines on a paper without the O-line coach.

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Per source, Midwestern State (D-II - TX) defensive line coach Charles Alexander has left to become defensive line coach at Southwest Minnesota State University. 

Western New England University (D-III - MA): Western New England University is seeking applicants for a defensive assistant coach. Position is flexible for best candidate (preference to Defensive Line). This will be a stipend only position. The compensation will be relative to experience. South Carolina: After losing their defensive line coach to LSU, South Carolina is reportedly bringing a former Gamecock home to take over the position.

Eastern Illinois (FCS): Eastern Illinois is looking to hire a director of football operations.  He/she will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the football program. The individual will work directly for the Head Football Coach and other staff and coaches in managing responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with the various units within the football program to ensure the efficiency of the overall program; maintaining an understanding of the workings of all units within the football program; daily schedule planning and coordinating between the various units; assisting with daily practice responsibilities; planning and coordinating pre-season; assisting with player transportation on and off-campus, coordinating with academic counselors regarding academic monitoring, assisting with NCAA compliance; communication with staff and student-athletes regarding practice and other operations and responsibilities. The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring that the daily operations of O’Brien Stadium, and he/she will serve as the University liaison for officials. The individual will work with the Athletic Business Office to secure required Human Resource documents from potential candidates for football program positions. He/she will also be responsible for assisting in the planning and operations of pre-season football camp, team travel, post-season game preparation, and travel-other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach and Athletic Administration. Exceptional problem solving and communication skills are required, and excellent judgment as the Head Football Coach will rely on this position to make decisions on his behalf. The Director of Football Operations will report directly to the Head Football Coach. Requires bachelor's degree. 1-5 years’ experience.
