North Alabama (FCS): Brent Dearmon has completed his first North Alabama staff with an established FCS assistant.
Minnesota Vikings: Ben Ellefson, who announced his retirement last week after appearing in nine games at tight end for the team over the last two seasons, is joining the staff in a role that will include coaching, scouting and player development duties.
Langston (NAIA - OK): Langston University is looking to fill graduate assistant positions (offense) & (defense). Positions will be responsible for the following: film breakdown, practice organization, game day preparation, recruiting area, student athlete development, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. Bluffton (D-III - OH): Bluffton University is accepting applications for a Defensive Graduate Assistant position. Preference given to candidates with defensive line experience. This is a 10-month appointment that will begin August 1st. Compensation includes tuition, housing, meals, and a stipend. The successful candidate will report to the Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator and Director of Athletics. Job Details: Academic monitoring, game planning, coaching your own position, recruitment of potential student-athletes, and other duties as assigned. Bryant (FCS - RI): Bryant University is currently accepting applications for Football Quality Control Coaching Assistants. These are entry level positions designed for highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and an interest in gaining direct work experience at the Division I FCS Level. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of playing experience at the high school level, however, collegiate playing experience is preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: video upload and editing, opponent film breakdown, opponent reports, assisting with recruiting, tracking recruiting activity, and any other responsibilities assigned by the Head Coach and Coordinators. Candidates must have a strong background using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Prior experience using Microsoft Visio, Playmaker Pro, and Catapult/XOS Digital Film Software is encouraged.
