Buffalo Bills: For those that watched the game last night and saw the injury to Damar Hamlin, the Bills shared at about 2am EST that he “suffered a cardiac arrest” and remained in critical condition and was sedated. Please join us in continuing to pray for him.

UCF: Gus Malzahn has his new offensive coordinator

Nebraska: Christian Ellsworth is joining the staff as an offensive analyst. He previously worked at South Carolina and Kansas State.

UAB: Connor Koch is joining the staff as director of player personnel, source tells FootballScoop. Koch was previously a player personnel intern at Ole Miss and the director of player personnel at Samford (FCS - AL).

Coastal Carolina: Texas A&M Commerce safeties coach Curtis Fuller is expected to become corners coach at Coastal Pete Thamel has shared. 

Maine (FCS): Steve Cooper is expected to become offensive coordinator at Maine Bruce Feldman shares. Cooper served as senior analyst at Nebraska this past season and previously served as offensive coordinator at Portland State.

Olivet Nazarene (NAIA – IL): Olivet Nazarene University is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant on Offense. Preference will be given to experience with Wide Receivers. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of strategy, successful recruiting ability, and strong leadership. Applicants must have a strong Christian faith and a desire to work within Olivet Nazarene’s Christian mission. Ashland (D-II - OH): Offensive line coach / run game coordinator Doug Geiser, who had been with the program dating back to 2004, has been elevated to head coach.

Emory & Henry (D-II - VA): Emory & Henry is seeking an opponent for September 9th of the 2023 season. Willing to do home and away with home game in '23. Please contact Tommy Buzzo (540-272-2223) to discuss options. 

Midwestern State (D-II - TX): Midwestern State is accepting applications for an Offensive Line Coach. This position will be full-time with benefits. Preferred applicants should have prior experience coaching offensive line at the collegiate level, running their own position group, and being responsible for a recruiting area. Other duties may include, but not limited to, film breakdown, equipment management / maintenance, retention and development of student athletes, and other responsibilities assigned by the Head Football Coach. Applicants are expected to have a Bachelor’s Degree; with Master’s Degree being preferred. Stanford: The Cardinal are finalizing the hiring of Wake Forest corners coach Paul Williams for the same position at Stanford, per multiple outlets.

Bills vs. Bengals: The NFL has announced that the game will not be resumed this week and no decision has been made on potentially resuming it.

Carolina Panthers: Panthers owner David Tepper has reportedly reached out to Jim Harbaugh about their vacancy.

Arkansas Tech (D-II): Arkansas Tech University is seeking applicants for a running backs GA. RB playing/coaching experience is preferred but not required. Compensation includes $800/Mo for 11 months and 6 hours of tuition per semester. Position includes but is not limited to: coaching and recruiting your own position, video editing, academic monitoring, maintaining a recruiting area, equipment, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Hildesheim Invaders (Germany): The Hildesheim Invaders of the GFL2 League has an opening for the Defensive Coordinator position. Lamar (FCS - TX): Wayne Cordova (safeties) and Coby Gipson (WRs) have both been retained by Pete Rossomando.

MidAmerica Nazarene (NAIA - KS): MNU is seeking applicants for a Defensive Graduate Assistant. Appalachian State: Pete Thamel tweets this morning that former Cincinnati and Central Michigan offensive line coach Mike Cummings is expected to join the App State staff as offensive line coach. He spent last season in the same capacity with the Bearcats.

Texas A&M Kingsville (D-II): TAMUK is looking to fill a defensive graduate assistant position. Position will be responsible for the following: film breakdown, practice organization, game day preparation, recruiting area, student athlete development, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. This position will include tuition assistance and a meal plan. Qualifications include bachelor's degree and acceptance into graduate program.
