Maine (FCS): The University of Maine is seeking (1) Defensive Pass Game Coordinator / secondary coach. This position will be full-time salaried with benefits. Presbyterian (FCS - SC): Former Missouri Southern State associate head coach / offensive coordinator Matt Rahl is joining the staff as tight ends / offensive line coach sources tell FootballScoop. Rahl has experience at UTEP, McKendree, Wyoming, Missouri and Winona State as well. Steve Englehart's offensive staff is expected to be Jayson Martin (OC/QBs), Blake Stone (OL), Matt Rahl (TE/OL), Nolan Genovese (WRs) and Leroy Wilson (RBs). 

Florida: Rutgers player development staffer Jeremy Patterson is expected to join the Florida staff as a defensive grad assistant Bruce Feldman has shared. 

Georgia State: Per multiple reports, Georgia analyst Ryan Williams is expected to join the offensive staff. A former Miami quarterback, Williams had been in Athens since 2018 and had worked with receivers and quarterbacks. Also, Georgia offensive line analyst Manrey Saint-Amour is expected to become offensive line coach at Georgia State per reports. 

Maine (FCS): The University of Maine is seeking a defensive quality control coach. The position will be responsible for a range of tasks, including assisting the staff with opponent breakdowns, self-scout, playbook creation, and video coordination. Applicants with experience with DVSport, Visio and excel are preferred. This is strictly a VOLUNTEER position; there is no compensation, housing or benefits with occasional meals. Florida: Head ball coach shared some thoughts about the current team that you don't often hear from a former head coach. 

San Francisco 49ers: Nick Sorensen, who joined the organization in 2022 as a defensive assistant before being promoted to defensive passing game specialist / nickel backs coach last season, is being promoted to defensive coordinator while former Chargers head coach Brandon Staley is joining the staff in a key senior role, per Adam Schefter.

South Carolina: Shane Beamer wasn't happy about having to go back to the drawing board for a receivers coach, and he made sure to make that known at his presser yesterday by taking aim at James Coley's departure.

Texas A&M Kingsville (D-II): Kapono Roy Asuega, the former outside linebackers coach at the University of Idaho, has been hired as the run game coordinator / defensive line coach.

Minnesota: The transfer portal provided leverage for PJ Fleck to get a raise for himself and his assistants.

Memphis: Lee Marks is joining the staff as running backs coach ESPN's Pete Thamel has shared. Marks coached running backs for the University of Washington the past two seasons. 

Georgia State: Dell McGee is reportedly adding an offensive presence with significant SEC experience. Also, Auburn analyst and former Akron defensive backs coach Jeremiah Wilson is expected to join the staff as defensive backs coach, 247 shares.

Stony Brook (FCS - NY): Marcus Hall-Oliver, who coached defensive tackles before moving to safeties at James Madison the last few seasons, has joined the staff as safeties coach.

Alabama: Alabama is set to promote a strength coach to a key off-field role, sources tell FootballScoop.
