Ole Miss: On Sunday, Lane Kiffin's automatic one-year extension triggered, keeping him under contract through 2030. Kiffin's contract calls for an automatic one-year extension on December 8th when they win seven regular season games, a benchmark they hit earlier this season.

Valparaiso (FCS - IN): The Valpo program has selected a proven D-III program builder as their new head coach.

NC State: Nickels coach Freddie Aughtry-Lindsay has been named interim defensive coordinator following the departure of Tony Gibson for the Marshall head coaching job. Aughtry-Lindsay has previous experience as a defensive play caller at St. Augustine's and NC Central.

Youngstown State (FCS - OH): Sources tell FootballScoop the Penguins are making a change at offensive coordinator.

Ohio: Following the departure of Tim Albin for the Charlotte job, associate head coach and offensive coordinator Brian Smith has been named interim head coach.

Winona State (D-II - MN): The Winona State University Football Staff is actively seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join them as an assistant coach /  S&C Coach. Position is to be determined. This is a Restricted Earnings OR Graduate Assistant Position. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; Certification in CPR/AED/First Aid; Ability to adapt to a demanding schedule and work in a fast-paced environment; CSCS or SCCC certification; Experience with intercollegiate athletics and football is preferred. The Strength and Conditioning Coach will work with football assist with football. If you meet the qualifications and are passionate about strength and conditioning, submit your application. Bill Belichick: Amid interest from North Carolina, Bill Belichick went on Pat McAfee to sell himself to the Tar Heels and the rest of college football.

Temple: Per source, defensive tackles coach Kevon Beckwith is not being retained on KC Keeler's staff. Beckwith just wrapped up his first season on staff.

Texas Tech: Assistant QBs coach Kirk Bryant will take a "more active" role with the quarterbacks and analyst Darcel McBath will do the same with the cornerbacks for Texas Tech's Liberty Bowl appearance versus Arkansas, says Joey McGuire. Wide receivers coach Juice Johnson and linebackers coach CJ Ah You will call plays for the game. 

Edinboro (D-II - PA): Head coach Jake Nulph is leaving after four years to become the athletic director at Kiski HS (PA). Nulph went 16-28 over the last four seasons at Edinboro, including a 3-8 mark last fall.

Bethel (NAIA - TN): Bethel University is taking resumes for an Offensive Assistant. Preference will be given to those with experience coaching the QB, WR, or HB/TE positions. Please send via email to Mike Jasper at Jasperm@bethelu.edu with "Offensive Assistant" as the subject.

Bill Belichick: Dianna Russini shares that Bill Belichick has had multiple conversations with representatives at UNC and that clarity on his future is "expected soon."

Central Michigan: Army offensive line coach Matt Drinkall has been formally announced as the new head coach of the Chippewas.

Florida State: Veteran offensive line coach Herb Hand, who spent the last several seasons at UCF with Gus Malzahn, is joining Mike Norvell's staff in the same capacity.

North Dakota (FCS): San Diego State defensive coordinator Eric Schmidt is returning to his alma mater as the new head coach.

Cal: Last night we shared that former Boise State and Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin emerged as a candidate for the offensive coordinator opening at Cal, and this morning Chris Low of ESPN shares that Harsin is set to take the position. Harsin and Justin Wilcox would reunite after previously working together on Chris Petersen's staff at Boise State.

Tulane: Jon Sumrall has confirmed he staying at Tulane.  

UNLV: Receivers coach Del Alexander will serve as interim head coach.

Central Michigan: Army offensive line coach Matt Drinkall is expected to become head coach at CMU per 247 sports. Drinkall served as Kansas Wesleyan's head coach 2014-18 and has been at Army since.

Oklahoma State: Veteran college defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, who spent this past season on staff with the Saints, is set to be the new defensive coordinator for Mike Gundy in Stillwater, ESPN reports.

Utah: Head coach Kyle Whittingham has provided clarity on his future at Utah.

Michigan: The Wolverines received a commitment on Sunday from the son of a prominent college football family.

Marshall: Sources tell FootballScoop that the Thundering Herd moved fast and have nabbed a well regarded defensive coordinator as their next head coach.

Oklahoma State: Sources tell FootballScoop the Cowboys are beginning their defensive overhaul with a coach with FBS coordinator experience, as well as time in the NFL.

Kansas: After already naming a new offensive coordinator, reports share a new defensive coordinator is also in the works for next fall with longtime Lance Leipold defensive coordinator Brian Borland set to step away.
