Morehouse (D-II - GA): Morehouse College is seeking 4 Volunteer coaches, 2 on offense and 2 on defense. This is strictly a volunteer position but you will be working directly with a position coach. No Stipend, No Meals, No Housing! Responsibilities will involve film breakdown, practice organization, game day preparation, recruiting area, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. TCU: New offensive coordinator has one word in mind when asked about what the new-look Horned Frogs offense will look like this fall.

Gardner-Webb (FCS - NC): Gardner-Webb University has an opening for a Special Teams Quality Control. This position is strictly volunteer with no stipend, benefits, housing, etc. All candidates will be considered. Juniata (D-III - PA): Juniata College invites applications for a full-time, Assistant Football Coach/Defensive Assistant. Primary Role is to assist the Defensive Coordinator with all facets of the program including but not limited to: Coaching; all aspects of the defense; Coaching a position group; Game and practice preparation and planning; Scouting and video breakdown; Recruitment of qualified student-athletes; Academic monitoring of student-athletes. Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four (4) years of full-time coaching experience at the Division III level or higher, a background as defensive assistant or the equivalent, depending upon the level and responsibilities, the demonstrated ability to recruit highly successful student-athletes, and an understanding of the Division III philosophy and its role at a private liberal arts institution. ESPN: ESPN has reportedly re-signed Chris Fowler as its top play-by-play voice. The financials are interesting.

Ohio Northern (D-III): Ohio Northern University is looking to hire a positional assistant coach working with the Cornerbacks. This is a stipend position paying $10,000 over 10 months with free housing available. This position will start as soon as possible. Playing and/or coaching experience is highly encouraged. North Central College (D-III - IL): North Central College is currently accepting applications for the position of Defensive Graduate Assistant. Responsibilities will include coaching or assisting with a position group, film breakdown, practice organization, recruiting area, student athlete development, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. Position includes a stipend and tuition waiver for graduate school. Applicants must have a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or better. Kenyon (D-II - OH): Kenyon football is looking to hire 3 interns (1 defensive/2 offensive) for the fall season. This position will be a 5-month, $5,000 stipend position with some meals. Lane (D-II - TN): Per source, Lane College has added Tommie Lewis Jr as their new defensive coordinator / defensive line coach, Kalvin Pearson as special teams coordinator / defensive backs coach, John Carter as linebackers coach. Also, offensive line coach Chris Patterson has been elevated to run game coordinator, receivers coach Sun Brown has been promoted to passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Derrick McCall has added the responsibilities of DFO.

Valdosta State (D-II - GA): Head coach Tremaine Jackson has been chosen to participate in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program with the Steelers.

Southwest Oklahoma State (D-II - OK): SWOSU is seeking to hire two Graduate Assistants. One offensive (Skill) GA and One defensive (DB) GA. Previous coaching and/or playing experience will take precedence. . Position responsibilities will include but are not limited to coaching your own position group, assisting with special team, recruiting your own area, game day duties, spread sheets/google docs, and any other responsibilities delegated by the Head Coach, Coordinator and/or position coach . The stipend for this position is 620 per month. Also, SWOSU will cover up to 9 credit hours per semester. Applicants must be accepted into the graduate program. Position is open until filled. Georgia: Faulkner (NAIA - AL) defensive coordinator Blaine Kauhiohoakaokalani Miller has joined the staff in a support staff role, where he will help with the inside linebackers.

Bridgewater State (D-III - MA): Bridgewater State University has announced several new hires for the 2023 season. John Gendron has been hired as assistant defensive coordinator and  linebackers coach. Coach Gendron has previous coaching experience at Bryant (FCS - RI), Rhode Island (FCS), Curry and most recently UMass Dartmouth.. Bridgewater has also hired Connor Nye as wide receivers coach after previously coaching at Bentley University, and BSU alumnus Tom Duell as their new quarterbacks coach.

Oregon State: Over the weekend, athletic director Scott Barnes experienced a "medical event" while attending an event in Fresno that resulted in hospitalization. The Pac-12 shared the following brief statement, “Scott Barnes is a dear friend, trusted colleague & incredibly loved man across the Oregon State & Pac-12 families & the entire college sports community. Our thoughts are w/Scott & his family at this time.”
