Northwestern: Director of recruiting Bryan Payton is leaving the staff after nine seasons to start his own recruiting business.
Muhlenberg College (D-III - PA): Muhlenberg College has an opening for a defensive position coach. This is an entry level position. The position will include a small salary, housing and meals, no benefits. Additional duties will include video work, recruiting and special teams. Southern Miss: Carter Foster has joined the staff as an offensive grad assistant working with the tight ends. Foster most recently served as tight ends coach at Houston Christian.
Lawrence Tech (NAIA - MI): Lawrence Technological University is seeking a candidate for one defensive graduate assistant position following the current academic semester. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: coaching a position, recruiting, and assisting with all aspects of football operations (film, equipment, travel, etc.). You must apply, be admitted into an LTU graduate school program, and have a 3.0 GPA or higher in undergrad at your previous university to be eligible for this position. Compensation will include housing, meals, stipend, and half of graduate school tuition. LTU is a high academic institution located in Southfield, MI and competes as a member of the MSFA Mideast League within the NAIA. Montana State (FCS): Jordan Walsh, the former tight ends coach at Eastern Illinois (FCS), is joining the staff at Montana State in the same capacity, per source. He takes the place of Tyler Walker, who moved from tight ends to offensive coordinator and quarterbacks earlier this off season.
Eastern Illinois (FCS): With the departure of Jordan Walsh to Montana State (see above), EIU has added former Ball State graduate assistant and Western Illinois tight ends coach Cole Hoover to the staff as tight ends coach, per source.
Montana Western (NAIA): The University of Montana Western has an immediate opening for a restricted earnings defensive coach. Defensive line experience preferred. Responsibilities will include coaching a position group, managing a recruiting area, special teams assignments, strength and conditioning assignments and other duties assigned by the head coach. College Football Playoff: Former Oregon State and Nebraska head coach Mike Riley has been named to the College Football Playoff selection committee.
Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University has an opening for a Graduate Assistant Coach on the Offense side of the ball. Responsibilities include but are not limited to on the field coaching, maintaining a recruiting territory, film breakdown and running your own positon group.
