Valdosta State (D-II - GA): Valdosta State has an opening for a defensive graduate assistant. Position includes, but is not limited to: assisting with a position on the field and in the meeting room, video editing, film sharing, equipment, manage and direct scout teams, weekly data input, weekly analytics, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Ideal candidates are super-organized and are good with Microsoft excel, word, power point and other computer skills. Washington Commanders: The Commanders are finalizing a deal with Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. More here.

Carolina Panthers: LA Rams assistant head coach Thomas Brown, who had interviewed for head coaching jobs the past two off seasons, is expected to join Frank Reich's staff as offensive coordinator, per multiple outlets.

NC State: Dave Doeren has inked a contract extension through the 2027 season. Doeren will enter his 11th season this fall and holds a record of 72-54 with the Wolf Pack.

Denver Broncos: Mike Westhoff has agreed to join the staff as assistant head coach, where he will oversee special teams with Ben Kotwica as special teams coordinator, Jeff Legwold tweets.

John Bonamego: The former Central Michigan head coach and veteran NFL special teams coordinator tells ESPN that he is retiring from the coaching profession. Please join us in wishing for all the best for coach Bono in this next chapter of his life.

Robert Morris (FCS - PA):  Robert Morris is looking to fill TWO VOLUNTEER position on the offensive side of the ball (Assistant Offensive Line Coach AND Assistant QB/WR Coach). These positions will be STRICTLY volunteer positions on the Robert Morris Football Staff. This position will work directly with the offensive staff and head coach. Coaches will be responsible for assisting each position group, film breakdown, data entry and all other duties assigned by the offensive staff. Otterbein (D-III - OH): New head coach Tommy Zagorski has hired both of his coordinators, sources tell FootballScoop. Slippery Rock (D-II -  PA) secondary coach Anthony Cicione II will be the team's defensive coordinator. He previously worked with Zagorski at Eastern Kentucky (FCS) and Akron. Also, Jake Schaefer is joining the program as offensive coordinator after working with Zagorski at Gilmour Academy (OH) last season.

Cincinnati: The program has announced the additions of Luke Mullet (special assistant to the head coach), Micaela Serrano (associate director of performance nutrition), and Clay Colvin (director of creative media - football. All three join the staff after working with Scott Satterfield at Louisville last season.

Northern Arizona (FCS): Northern Arizona is looking to hire a special teams quality control coach. This role is a volunteer position at this time. Proficiency in XOS and Visio a must. Doane (NAIA - NE): Doane University is seeking immediate applicants for a graduate assistant position coaching WRs. A Bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 GPA and acceptance into a Doane graduate program is required. The position provides a tuition waiver, annual stipend and insurance is available. Michigan: In addition to formally announcing Chris Partridge's return as linebackers coach, Michigan has also announced its new offensive coordinator

New York Giants: Brian Daboll has hired his son Christian as an offensive assistant. He was previously a student assistant at Penn State. 

SMU: Safeties coach Kyle Cooper will serve as the program's special teams coordinator.

Waynesburg (D-III - PA): Waynesburg is looking to hire two VOLUNTEER coaches. These positions will have ON-FIELD coaching responsibilities in addition to film breakdown (Hudl), scouting reports, and on-campus recruiting. Offensively, position assignment will be based on background of best candidate. Defensively, position preference will be given to Defensive Line, but evaluate for best candidate. Excellent opportunity for younger coaches looking to gain collegiate experience and have their own position group. This is a VOLUNTEER position with no stipend or housing. Local coaches and/or students are encouraged to apply. Weber State (FCS - UT): Graduate assistant Zach Larson has been promoted to quarterbacks coach, per source.

William Penn (NAIA - IA): William Penn University has openings for a QBs and DBs graduate assistant/restricted earnings position. This position includes tuition, a small stipend, and a meal plan through the campus dining hall. Housing is not included, but we will assist you in finding something. Responsibilities will include coaching your own position group, recruiting your own area, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach or Coordinator. New Hampshire (FCS): The program has now formally announced the additions of UConn defensive analyst Luke Carrezola (DL) and Randall Jette (CBs).

Western New Mexico (D-II): Southwest CC (JC - MS) defensive coordinator Clyde Logan has joined the team as special teams coordinator / defensive backs coach and Army defensive quality control coach Sam Camp has returned to WNMU as offensive coordinator after previously working with the program's receivers in 2021.

Lehigh (FCS - PA): Ben Thaw has accepted the outside linebackers job with the program. Thaw spent the last three seasons at Wake Forest, initially as a recruiting intern before being promoted to a graduate assistant spot working with the team's defensive backs.

Toledo's Offensive Line Coach Mike Hallett Shares His Open Side Leverage Pulls in Mid Zone: The open side (two surface) mid zone can be a very productive run scheme, but what if a play side 2i prevents the Center/Guard combo from getting to the point linebacker? It was an issue University of Toledo offensive line coach Mike Hallett encountered, so he started treating his mid-zone like a man scheme. His answer was to pull the Center, term it a different concept (F Mid Zone) and it resulted in an efficiency of 7.4 yards per carry this season. It was extremely efficient against the Odd front outfits that have become so prevalent in the MAC. Continue reading.

Eastern Washington (FCS): Hayden Mace, who coached the offensive line at Sioux Falls (D-II - SD) last season, has now formally joined the team as their new offensive line coach.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (JC): Jon Clark has joined the team as defensive backs coach after spending last season at Texas Permian Basin (D-II) in the same capacity.

Ohio State: Gunner Daniel has joined the staff as a special teams assistant. He was most recently the snapping coach for the NFLPA Bowl. 

Kansas City Chiefs: With an expected offensive coordinator opening set to happen as early as today, senior assistant and quarterbacks coach Matt Nagy has quickly emerged as the top choice as the team's new offensive coordinator, Ian Rapoport tweets.

Wake Forest: Dave Clawson is reportedly set to fill his offensive vacancy with an Air Force assistant.

Washington Commanders: The team and Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy have a mutual interest between them and "it's trending in the right direction" in terms of him landing the offensive coordinator job on Ron Rivera's staff, Ian Rapoport tweets and adds that his hire should become official today.

Berry College (D-III - GA): The Berry College football program has an opening for a graduate assistant (looking for best fit). This position includes full tuition, a $9,000 stipend and an unlimited meal plan through the campus dining hall. Housing is not included but we will assist you in finding something. Responsibilities will include coaching your own position group, recruiting your own area and other duties assigned by the Head Coach or Coordinator. Carolina Panthers: Detroit Lions defensive line coach Todd Walsh is leaving for the same position with the Panthers, Dan Graziano of ESPN tweets.

LA Rams: Former Lions defensive backs coach Aubrey Pleasant has joined the staff as defensive backs coach. Pleasant was let go in Detroit in-season and quickly landed as an offensive assistant with the Packers.

Oregon State: Kody Schexnayder is joining the staff as a special teams analyst after previously serving in a similar role at Arkansas State.

Arizona Cardinals: Chicago Bears linebackers coach Dave Borgonzi is interviewing Saturday for the defensive coordinator job, Adam Schefter tweets. Albert Breer adds that the interview will be via Zoom.

Northern Iowa (FCS): Sources tell FootballScoop that Jeremiah Johnson, who spent last season as the defensive coordinator at Kent State, and had initially been retained on the new staff, is returning to UNI as defensive coordinator.
