Columbia (FCS - NY): A former Lions assistant is set to return as head coach after a successful stint in Division III, sources tell FootballScoop

Madonna (NAIA - MI): Head coach Herb Haygood is stepping down the University has announced. Haygood has been with the program since July 2019 and was first appointed interim head coach in December 2020. 

Mississippi State: Indiana receivers coach Anthony Tucker is joining Mississippi State's staff as assistant head coach / running backs. 

UC Davis (FCS): Cal tight ends coach Tim Plough is headed back to UC Davis as head coach Adam Rittenberg reports. Plough played quarterback at Davis and previously coached there nearly ten seasons. 

Fresno State: Head coach Jeff Tedford is stepping away from his duties, effective immediately, to address some personal health concerns. Assistant head coach / linebackers coach Tim Skipper, will serve as acting head coach through their bowl game.

Norwich (D-III - VT): Bill Russell, who just completed his 16th season on staff with the past 10 as associate head coach, has been named head coach.

Michigan State: Sources tell FootballScoop that Jonathan Smith has decided to not retain a longtime Spartan staffer and alumnus.

Nebraska: Other programs came calling; but Nebraska locked him up... Defensive coordinator Tony White has signed a new contract with the Huskers

Indiana: James Madison assistant head coach / special teams coordinator / tight ends coach Grant Cain is also heading to Indiana, Matt Zenitz shares.

James Madison: JMU is using Collegiate Sports Associates to assist with their search. 

SEMO (FCS): Sources tell FootballScoop SEMO is making staff changes

Garden City CC (KS): Garden City is looking to hire two entry level coaching positions, an assistant defensive backs coach and an assistant defensive line coach.  Perfect fit for a young coach that wants to break into the college coaching profession. Will report to the head coach, OC and DC.  Coaches will assist with the day in and day our operations of the football program. Coaches will have the opportunity to coach on the field,  have their own recruiting area, do in person recruiting and establish relationships with many four year coaches. The ideal candidate would have experience in a coaching environment with the ability to manage, motivate, and lead others while working within an extremely fast paced environment. Mississippi State: Sources tell FootballScoop Jeff Lebby has released five assistant coaches.

Concord (D-II - WV): Concord University is seeking applicants for a Wide Receivers Graduate Assistant coaching position. Bachelor’s degree is required, and applicants must be accepted into graduate school. Responsibilities include coaching a position, running position meetings, managing a recruiting territory, film breakdowns, assisting in the weight room and other duties assigned by the head coach and offensive staff. Experience playing or coaching WR at the college level is preferred. Position includes tuition waiver and $5,000 per semester stipend. No Housing or Meals provided. Position starts January 1. Baylor: A former FBS head coach will be the new offensive coordinator on the Brazos.
