The FootballScoop Staff is asking for your help. Our friend James Weiss of Longhorn Lockers recently experienced a house fire that destroyed his home and nearly all of his family's belongings. James has an infectious positivity about him and has been a blessing to so many in this profession and in his community. He is far too humble himself to ask for help; but we are very happy to see there is an opportunity to support their family here as they get back on their feet. Please join us in keeping the Weiss family in your prayers.

The "Comeback Hitch" at its Potency in CSM's Compressed Formation Menu: Last season Colorado School of Mines topped the D2 ranks in scoring offense (44 ppg) and in passing efficiency. And 21% of its passing concepts came from either aligning in stacks and bunches or motioning to them. For offensive coordinator Pete Sterbick it’s been an equalizer against defenses that have the personnel to match up and play man. Coach Sterbick presents his entire compressed formation route menu that helped propel QB John Matocha to the Harlon Hill award (top D2 player) this fall. Many of this production came from what he calls a “white route”- a hybrid between a hitch and comeback- designed to find space in against low corners and box coverage, two of the most common adjustments in defending bunch.
