USC: The University of Southern California is currently accepting applications for a Volunteer Internship for Summer 2023 Semester to work with football. This is an UNPAID internship. This internship will start on (5/22/2023) and last through the summer (8/1/2023) with potential to continue into the Fall and Spring semester. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be professional, and have a desire to become a sports performance coach. Candidates will also earn accredited hours under a Master Strength Coach needed for the SCCC certification through the CSCCa. Must be working towards a certification (CSCS or SCCC). It is strongly advised that all potential candidates make sure that this internship is financially feasible before applying. All applicants must be considerate of their schedule and time management. UConn: The University of Connecticut Football Strength and Conditioning staff is currently accepting applications for our Summer 2023 volunteer internship. The position will run from May 25th – July 28th. Ideal candidates must be highly motivated and working towards a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Exercise Science or related field. Candidates must be CPR/AED certified and possess, or currently working towards their certification through the USAW, NSCA, or CSCCa. Duties of the internship will include set up and take down of the weight room, daily cleaning and maintenance, completion of a comprehensive educational curriculum, hands on experience, and any other duties assigned by the strength and conditioning staff. As a reminder, this is an unpaid position and if it will not work financially, please do not apply.
