Adams State: Adams State University is looking for a graduate assistant for strength and conditioning starting on August 1st. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field. CPR/AED. Enroll in the master's program at ASU in a related field. Pursuing their NSCA-CSCS, NSCA-RSCC or CSCCa certification. Preferred: Prior experience working as intern or athlete in collegiate sport setting. Job Description: While working as a graduate assistant at the University your schedule will be part-time (12pm-6pm Mon-Fri) with possible weekend hours as needed. You will assist the Director of Strength and Conditioning and Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach with all areas of facility management/upkeep and daily operations. During your scheduled time you will assist with training Volleyball, M&W Soccer, Lacrosse, Track and Field, Cross Country and M&W Swim. This includes helping with program design, nutrition, prehabilitation, and performance testing and monitoring of these programs. UConn: The University of Connecticut Football Strength and Conditioning staff is currently accepting applications for our Fall 2023 volunteer internship. The position will run from July 30 th – December 15 th . Ideal candidates must be highly motivated and working towards a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Exercise Science or related field. Candidates must be CPR/AED certified and possess, or currently working towards their certification through the USAW, NSCA, or CSCCa. Duties of the internship will include set up and take down of the weight room, daily cleaning and maintenance, completion of a comprehensive educational curriculum, hands on experience, and any other duties assigned by the strength and conditioning staff. As a reminder, this is an unpaid position and if it will not work financially, please do not apply.
