Northern Arizona (FCS): Northern Arizona University is looking to hire a strength and conditioning Graduate Assistant. This position will run from June 5th, 2023-December 20th, 2024. The position will have the opportunity to design, implement, and coach programs for Men's and Women's Tennis, and Cross Country, while assisting heavily with football. The position has a full tuition waiver, $1,000 monthly stipend. Start date is June 5th. Candidates must be pursing or have Accredited Certification (CSCS/SCCC), be First Aid and CPR/AED certified, have relative field experience, and have an undergraduate degree. ULM: University of Louisiana Monroe Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking to fill 2 Graduate Assistant positions. The positions will be responsible for 2-3 Olympic sports and Assist with Football and assist possibly with Baseball . The position will be responsible for all aspects of Strength and Conditioning for their assigned teams including but not limited to programming, coaching, teaching, and instructing Olympic movements, supervising, nutrition, scheduling, assisting with the internship program, and other duties assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Youngstown State (FCS - OH): Youngstown State University is looking to fill one Graduate Assistant Sports Performance position. The duties of the Graduate Assistant includes, but are not limited to: designing and implementation of programs for assigned teams, constant evaluation and tracking of athletes, maintenance of weight room, and upholding the YSU Sports Performance standards. The Graduate Assistant will also take part in a designed curriculum to help prepare them for their next step as a full-time Sports Performance Coach. Graduate Assistant applicants must be accepted and enrolled in master’s level classes at Youngstown State University. Not only is the success of our athletes important but the opportunity to walk away from this experience with a master’s degree is of equal or greater value.
