University at Buffalo: The University at Buffalo Football Strength and Conditioning Department is looking for 2-3 volunteer interns for the Fall 2020 Semester. All positions will be UNPAID. The successful candidates will assist with all daily duties as it pertains to Buffalo Football Strength and Conditioning including but not limited to: assisting with coaching, data tracking, data entry, fueling station management and any other duties as assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning, Matt Gildersleeve. The expected start date will tentatively be September 1, 2020 (or as early as possible), and go until the end of the semester. Valparaiso: Valparaiso University is offering a 1 semester strength & conditioning internship. A small stipend may be offered upon previous coaching experience. Minimum requirements include CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications; attributes including hardworking, passionate, detail orientated, and has the desire to work in the strength & conditioning field. UNLV: University of Nevada Las Vegas Football Strength and Conditioning is currently seeking highly motivated individuals for a volunteer internship position for the Fall beginning September 7th and another start date of October 5th. Completion of the internship will give each candidate: Practical experience in a Division 1 football strength and conditioning program, Sport Science experience (Catapult GPS, GymAware), Valuable networking in the field, Internship hours for CSCCa SCCC. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to; assisting with supervision and execution of strength and conditioning program for Football, teaching proper technique in exercises, and daily maintenance and cleaning of training equipment and facilities. No monetary compensation will be provided. CSCS/SCCC/USAW Certifications preferred, but not required. CPR/AED with a hands on component is required.
