Ole Miss: The University of Mississippi Football Strength & Conditioning Department is currently accepting applications for the Fall 2020. The duration of the internship is August 21 β End of Season, with the opportunity to stay longer. Qualified candidates would get hands on experience with one of the most storied FBS / SEC Football Programs. This is an UNPAID position. However, the position offers the opportunity for advancement in the field of strength and conditioning, as well as the fulfillment of credit hours towards a degree program. This position would assist in the implementation of our program, set up and break down of all workouts and maintenance and upkeep of our weight room. Required qualifications include having or working towards degree, a relentless work ethic, attention to detail and a desire to become a strength and conditioning coach. Preferred qualifications include certification from a recognized strength and conditioning association (USAW, CSCS, CSCCa), previous coaching experience and proficiency in teaching and performing Olympic movements. Missouri Western State: Missouri Western State University has TWO Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning positions available immediately. The Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will provide support and assistance to the Head Strength Coach. The GA will be responsible for the design and implementation of strength & conditioning programs for 3-4 assigned sports as well as assisting with football. Must hold or be working towards a nationally accredited certification (SCCC ,CSCS, USAW). Must show willingness and desire to learn and grow in the profession. Previous experience in collegiate strength & conditioning preferred. The GA receives full graduate school tuition covering a maximum of 36 credit hours as well as a monthly stipend. A bachelorβs degree, and employment is contingent on acceptance into MWSU Graduate School (2.75 GPA required for admission).
