Georgia: The University of Georgia Football Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking highly motivated interns to fulfill UNPAID internship positions with our Football program from January 2025 to May 2025. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, be professional, proficient and have a desire to become a sports performance coach. Candidates will also earn accredited hours under a Master Strength Coach needed for the SCCC certification through the CSCCa. Hours will vary throughout the year including early morning, late afternoon, or weekend hours. Internship responsibilities will include various duties within the UGA Football S&C Staff. FAU: The FAU strength and conditioning staff is looking for unpaid assistant coaches that are highly motivated to get their start in coaching. You will be working with highly experienced strength and conditioning coaches motivated to further your career with an individualized curriculum. Southern (FCS - LA): Southern invites applications for the position of (2) Spring 2025, Football Strength & Conditioning volunteer interns. This intern program is designed to provide each participant with a holistic and valuable practical experience in the field of Strength and Conditioning. This is an unpaid internship, STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. Applicants must possess a strong desire to become a football collegiate strength & conditioning coach. Interns will have the opportunity to learn in a practicum environment under the supervision of the Head Football Strength and Conditioning, and gain valuable hands on experience. Coach Moore, is also a CSCCa approved mentor. Students should be working towards a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or preparing to obtain a strength and conditioning certification (NSCA – CSCS, USAW, CSCCa). Essential Job Functions: Functions include but are not limited to the following; Assist Head Football Strength & Conditioning coach, in day to day operations, Attend weekly professional development meetings with strength staff. Qualifications: Enrolled in a Bachelor degree program in related strength and conditioning field; Possess, or be working towards, one of the following certifications: NSCA – CSCS, USAW, CSCCa, and must be up to date on CPR/AED certification; Must have a strong desire to pursue a career in football strength and conditioning; Willingness to participate in the full spring semester intern program.Start Date: January 6th, 2025 (tentative start date).
