USC: The University of Southern California is currently accepting applications for a Volunteer Internship for Summer 2024 Semester to work with football. This is an UNPAID internship. This internship will start on (5/29/2024) and last through the summer (8/1/2024) with potential to continue into the Fall and Spring semester. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be professional, and have a desire to become a sports performance coach. Candidates will also earn accredited hours under a Master Strength Coach needed for the SCCC certification through the CSCCa. Must be working towards a certification (CSCS or SCCC). It is strongly advised that all potential candidates make sure that this internship is financially feasible before applying. All applicants must be considerate of their schedule and time management. New Mexico: The University of New Mexico Sport Performance is accepting applications for the Summer 2024 Sport Performance Internship. We are searching for interns that are Desert Worthy. Desert Worthy consists of being passionate about training, having a strong work-ethic, being detail oriented, having the ability to adapt, and a willingness to learn. We are looking to fill 10-12 positions for the Summer. This is a volunteer, UNPAID, position that offers Division I Football experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the strength and conditioning staff in the training of the UNM Football team, assist with daily administrative and maintenance duties, assist in the set-up and break-down of equipment for every workout, various fuel/nutrition station duties, and participation in a curriculum that has weekly classroom sessions, and weekly sessions out on floor. Interns can expect to be Graduate Assistantship ready at the conclusion of this internship.
