Wayne State (D-II - NE): Wayne State College (NE) has an opening for an assistant strength and conditioning coach. This is an hourly restricted earnings position (NO BENEFITS). The position will serve as the departmentβs main assistant, run their own teams, and assist with football. This is a great opportunity for a young professional to get hands on coaching experience at the DII level. While working under a CSCCa approved mentor. The ideal candidate will have collegiate coaching experience and be nationally certified by NSCA/CSCCa. Position pays $30,000. No housing or meals will be provided. Shorter University (D-II - GA): Shorter University is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant coaching positions (FB Strength & Conditioning). Responsibilities include coaching and leading the football team in the weight room, traveling with program to all games, coordinating practice flex and assisting with a program for injured program during the Fall, possibly managing a recruiting territory, and other duties set aside by the Head Strength Coach and the Head Football Coach. Experience playing or coaching at the college level is preferred. Strength and Conditioning Certifications are not required, but must be able to acquire them (CSCS and USAW) Position includes 100% tuition waiver for the Masterβs program of your choosing (which is an exclusively online program), and a full meal plan. There is no stipend for this position. There will be the opportunity for additional income available. On-campus housing is not available. Admission to the Shorter University Graduate School (minimum GPA of 2.5) is required. The position must start no later than August 19th but preferred earlier.
