Montana: The University of Montana Athletic Performance Department is seeking applicants for 2 graduate assistant positions for the 2021-2022 academic year. This is a 10-month position, with renewal based on performance for the second year that includes a tuition waiver and monthly stipend. The Graduate Assistantship in Athletic Performance involves coaching responsibilities that may include assisting the athletic performance coaches with the design and implementation of sport-specific strength, speed, and agility programs; weight room supervision; daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment; you will be assigned your own sports and other duties. Ability to use software such as: Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, and video analysis. A strong desire to coach beyond your GA. Maintain a professional working relationship with members of the University of Montana athletic department and University campus community. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a related field and acceptance into a University of Montana graduate program. Preferred qualifications: Internship experience with a collegiate program; nationally accredited certification. Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until position is filled.
