Stanford reportedly losing run game coordinator to the NFL

Adam Schefter tweets tonight that Klayton Adams is heading back to the NFL, as the new offensive line coach for the Arizona Cardinals.

Multiple outlets are reporting the same.

Adams coached the tight ends for the Colts the previous two seasons, and had joined Troy Taylor's staff back in December.

Taylor brought Adams to Stanford to serve as offensive line coach and run game coordinator.

Indianapolis was the only previous NFL stop for Adams, who initially joined the Colts as assistant offensive line coach from 2019-20 before being elevated to tight ends coach in 2021.

He previously served as co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach at Colorado, and before that coached the Buffs running backs and tight ends.

Past stops for Adams include San Jose State, Sacramento State, Western Washington and Boise State.
